Rivers and Carey...

I woudl defintely go Rivers/Carey. This draft is very deep in WR and good talent can be had in later rounds. With Chambers catching the ball and McMichael we at least have some receiving ability on the team.

We have no Oline ability and even weaker depth. We need QB and OLine as priorities.

Rivers is more like the 5th-7th best QB in the draft but some team, like the Raiders, will reach for him.

Bout time someone hits it on the money!

Give me a WR and a OL in the first round and let's win this muthaphucka...

You know....this post reminds me of how good a position our team really is in.

How many other teams could realistically say they are a player or two away from being a great team.

Glad I'm not a Chargers or Raiders fan.

There are 5 players on a offensive line :D

Aye....but it would only take 1, maybe 2, big time O-line guys to get the entire unit playing better.

Yes...

We got one that just came back from an achilles injury and didn't perform to well=cheap signing.

We got a kid that has played guard and center sparingly for two year=training for center

We got the most athletic tackle in the draft last year that got schooled by a couple of "pass rush specialists"=training

We're getting young.

Now give me that thoroughbred to anchor this thing.

Sign Brad Hopkins who is going to be a cap casualty and have him play RT. Cheap, good veteran who can really help. Re-sign Nails and play him at RG healthy. Have a camp battle for LG with Yates, Whitley, and Jerman. Smith will improve at LT. McKinney will start at center.

In the mid rounds draft a T to groom behind Hopkins who can also provide depth for both tackle spots. In the late rounds draft a smart center to be a backup to McKinney and also push him. Look at what the Pats found in an undrafted free agent in Koppen.

How do you get those picks? Well I guess you can drop down from 20 to the late 20s and pick up the pick for a RT prospect and T backup. In the late rounds you can get that center with our sixth rounder. Brian Rimpf is a good candidate for the first one. A.J. Ricker is a good, smart center.

I wish we wouldnt argue over who is better Losman or Rivers none of us really know. We can be fairly certain that either are an upgrade over what we have. Seems like Rivers is a thinker and losman is a gunslinger ill take either:m83: :nerd:
