Rohan Davey available??

Rohan Davey is not an NFL quality quarterback. He's got NFL quality size, speed, arm, but he doesnt have the mechanics or the brain.

He hasnt really done a damn thing to make anyone think he's worth anything really. He excelled in NFL Europe. NFL Europe is made up of guys who arent going to have careers playing football for much longer. NFL Europe is not even close to 2nd and 3rd string players in preseason in terms of talent and complexity.

rohan needs to be in real game situations to get his accuracy going. he is a natural leader who has excelled everywhere he has started. if given the chance to start in the nfl, the adrenaline and his leadership will put him over the hump into good starter category. i'm a big lsu homer so i love this guy and would be thrilled if he became a dolphin. saban, williams, and davey would be awesome.

Rohan would be starting for us......please get him

Good Lord man, he wouldn't be starting for any team this year because he can't read the defense fast enough and he can't throw the ball where it needs to be. I sure hope that you don't think just because he did good in NFLE, he will do good in the NFL.

we want someone who can beat the patriots not someone who was cut by the patriots

CK, While I respect your opinion and agree with almost all of your post, ROHAN DAVEY! I must respectfully disagree. I agree you must bring in guys or draft a guy and hope he suprises because legit starting QBs are not traded.

I happen to agree that Brees is not a perfect fit for our system if we are comparing our system to what was run in Minnesota. However we dont have a Daunte Culpepper or Randy Moss on our roster so Im tempted to believe we will not be running the same exact system Linehan did in Minny. Also, right now with RW and RB our RB corps is much greater than what he had in Minny. Both guys have good hands and are great catching passes out of the backfield. Booker also isnt a deep threat and is a great hands posession WR.... with all that said, Brees might not be a perfect fit but he would be a good fit. Brees to me is more of a guy who will not go out and win a game, but he wont lose the game. Brees does not have the arm strength that some of the other NFL QBs do, but he has shown great decision making last year and great accuracy. All of this might be moot if Feeley pans out but you always need a contingency plan.

I happen to think if AJ doesnt lock onto his WRs, he would be very good in this offense. AJ has a cannon of an arm and good accuracy.... sometimes too much of a cannon of an arm. AJ still needs some work with him but I think he has good starting points to be successful in this offense. With all the playmakers we have on offense, we just need someone who is going to be smart, make good reads, and get them the ball. We dont need a Peyton Manning at QB who is going to win the games for us, we need a guy like Roethlisberger who is going to get the ball to his playmakers and let them win the game, and that is how I picture Brees.

We missed making the AFC Title Game b/c of a K, we didn't have quite as many holes as you guys so taking the K was a good thing and certainly better than shipping out a 2 for a 3rd string QB.

strike
