I don't believe that's true. I live in Atlanta and read an article this morning here locally and trust me it's not Brown, it's his agent. Brown's mother stated she is concerned at this point but she keeps being told by France not to worry. The article stated his bags are packed and even if a deal is worked out at 3AM he'd be in camp to practice that same morning. I personally know a guy that coached him in high school and he told me on Friday Brown wanted to play in camp despite the deal not being done but didn't realize it wasn't normal to do that. Keep in mind he participated in minicamps without a deal.DOLFANMIKE said:Everyday he sits out, the less valuable he is to us this season.
I truly believe the problem with this deal is France. If Brown gets 19 mill instead of 22 it's not really that much of a loss to Brown because either way he's never working again after football but it's about 300k less for an agent that's looking to make a name for himself. Don't get mad at Brown here. By all accounts from all local people here he's a great kid and is probably more than embarrased that this is taking so long.
