Ross and Ireland deserve an apology from disgruntled fans that doubted the BM trade

What I have a problem with is the idea that I or anyoneshould apologize to the people who made the best of a bad situation when theyare the ones who created the bad situation. When Parcells and Ireland came to the phins they talked about bringingin high character guys and then proceeded to bring in every problem child imaginableand routinely looked the other way when their players got in trouble.
The truth is there is an easy road and a hard road. The easy road is filled with quick fixes withhigh priced free agents and flashy trades. The problem is this road often doesn’t get you where you want to go; in fact,I’d go so far as to say it never gets you where you want to be. The hard road takes vision and commitment. It takes the realization that there are noquick fixes. Only hard work anddetermination will get us to our destination.
As I see it we have a Coach that want to take the hardroad and a front office used to taking the easy road. I hope the Coach wins out but with all thepressure to do what’s flashy and sells tickets, I think it is only a matter oftime till we are riding him out on a rail. It makes me puke every time I read somethingabout bringing in this FA or that one. Idesperately want an organization that wants to recruit and develop its owntalent. I just don’t see that with ourownership or front office.

I can't prove it, but I never liked the trade when it happened. But Parcells did allow T.O. to join the Cowboys. After he left the Patriots due to the conflict with ownership over drafting Terry Glenn, I find it hard to believe that Parcells did not have veto power over bringing in a diva wide receiver with baggage.

In Dallas Jones does what he wants! Tuna had to shut up and color he was fresh off a divorce and wanted Jones money. In New England that was when Kraft bought the team amd saw the game evolving to speed and Tuna didn't. Kraft took control Tuna grumbled if they want you to cook dinner they should let you buy tje groceries! Tuna left and Kraft built a dynasty!

Snake.... as for taking the shot no i dont blame them, i supported it. It is the frustration of making another hole and no they dont get a pass because they knew the risk with Marshall when they traded for him.

Ireland's only job is to make this team better and trading Marshall without replacing him with someone of his
same status does not do that, period! Don't give me the he gets I'm trouble excuse for trading him because
Somebody once said that the best indication of future behavior is past behavior, I think that was parcells or maybe Nikky boy! I for one don't think the trade had anything to do with his behavior

they are the ones that traded for a head case 2 years ago...they new what type of character they were getting. if they didn't want to deal with things like that then they should have never traded him in the first place and waste 2 2nd rounders.

Why would anyone apologize to the men who brought him in to begin with? He was already known as a woman beating scumbag when we traded two 2nds for him.

We dont want no first downsss we WANT....TOUCH...DOWNSSSS come on sing it with me..

Why is Philip Merling still here?

because his name isn't brandon marshall? no idea..

if you ask some of these dudes.. anybody who got in trouble growing up(dating as far back as college), drops passes, or has stupid penalties... should be traded for minimal gain...

incognito, ricky williams, david boston, merling, ... yea, we are signing some high character guys there... but it's mostly bmarshs fault cuz he "might someday get real jail time"

They stuck by their beliefs and kicked out a man who strikes women and got 2 3 rd round picks. I applaud them.

If you applaud them for trading him away, then you are applauding them for bringing him in ...we needed a #1 WR and they went out and traded for a troubled one...there should be no applauds at all, for this was a bad move to begin with
