Ross asked by league to postpone meeting with Martin

On NFL live they are reporting the league or independent peeps are asking Ross to delay meeting with Martin due to they want to speak to him first. What could this be all about? Some are ridiculing Ross for taking so long to speak to Martin, but from where I stand the same could be said of the investigator.
 
They probably thought he was going to pay Martin off like the golf volunteer lady
 
he should have kept his mouth shut and kept his cards close to the vest...

but when was the last time he ever did that?
 
I am going to take some credit for this because I posted a thread earlier this morning with my concerns about that. I also CALLED and E-MAILED the League Office that this was highly inappropriate.
 
All I know at this point, Martin better have a bonafide gripe to warrant this so called scandal. Things which come to mind are hard to fathom considering someone his size but I guess its possible. This supposedly when on last year as well, when Bush, Long and others were here. Jake and Reggie have not chimed in on this as far as I know, so I wonder!!!!!
 
Good! That big dumb idiot shouldn't be talking to him right now...
 
Anyone else think it was strange that he was going out there to talk to Martin the day before the investigators?

How can you even watch ANY sports segments today?! Kuddos for you for being able to. I myself can't bring myself to do it.. I'm forcing myself to watch storage wars and crap like that all day.. Probably all week for that matter :(
 
It just happens to be on and I listen just to see and hear these fools trying to spin this so they can talk incessantly about it. Well, at least Bowe is taking some of the focus off with his issue, which I mentioned earlier reflects poorly on their leadership from top to bottom, they paid the guy big time this off season

Well done. I saw your thread earlier and realized you were absolutely correct. I was annoyed I hadn't thought of it, and surprised the media didn't say anything last night after Ross announced his intentions.

The Dolphins can't afford any appearance of impropriety, even if Ross' intentions were totally above board.

We need to hear the actual version, not one that is potentially corporate manipulated.
 
If you are the NFL's investigator you have to figure you have one and only one shot at Martin before his lawyers order him to go silent before the lawsuit. Of course they are going to take their time before they talk to him. They have to know the lay of the land before going into the meeting. Otherwise they go into the session without a clue as to what they need to be asking him.
 
I am going on record that no lawsuit will be filed. I will eat crow if necessary but I truly believe Martin has a Bipolar problem much like Marshall. Once he is on meds and realizes he was paranoid and the bogey man wasn't out to get him this will be the end of it. The positive being, he gets the help he needs, as hopefully RI also.
