Ross asked by league to postpone meeting with Martin

Well done. I saw your thread earlier and realized you were absolutely correct. I was annoyed I hadn't thought of it, and surprised the media didn't say anything last night after Ross announced his intentions.

The Dolphins can't afford any appearance of impropriety, even if Ross' intentions were totally above board.

We need to hear the actual version, not one that is potentially corporate manipulated.
Thank you very much Sir. my biggest concern was: if Ross goes out there, does something stupid and the NFL finds out, then we are going to wind up losing Draft Picks like New England and New Orleans did. And then THE FANS are going to pay the price.

I am going on record that no lawsuit will be filed. I will eat crow if necessary but I truly believe Martin has a Bipolar problem much like Marshall. Once he is on meds and realizes he was paranoid and the bogey man wasn't out to get him this will be the end of it. The positive being, he gets the help he needs, as hopefully RI also.

Right, and his two Harvard lawyer parents would let him take it this far if it was the Boogey man??

I'm right there with you. Money was always the quick and sloppy angle to this story. I'm not surprised Ben Volin went that route but Dave Hyde is really slipping, to fall for it.

Ted Wells will be very prepared for this and ask many questions, questions that none of us would even think about. As I've mentioned in another thread, I work in the firm where Ted is a partner and he is very thorough, this meeting may last 6-8 hours. And the whole time they will be in a conf room here and Ted will grill him til he is blue in the face. Can I say that? lmao.

Indeed I do. A lawyer is a lawyer, more so when they are related. Let me ask you, what in your mind do you really think could have happened to warrant this? text messages which he exchanged freely with RI? vulgar language? his last text to RI said he know not where this is coming from, does this make sense to you.

I am going to take some credit for this because I posted a thread earlier this morning with my concerns about that. I also CALLED and E-MAILED the League Office that this was highly inappropriate.
saying it is improper is great, but your thread took it a bit far

If you ask the league to investigate then you should probably stay out of it till they are done.

Yea because of you and only you the NFL made a decision.

Incredible.

After they heard him speak at halftime last night they don't want him to screw this up further......this is already going to cost the Fins millions, the NFL trying to get there payout as low as possible....

Actually, what we needed was for these clowns to STFU and block somebody.
