Ross Created an Unnecessary Distraction Tonight

We all know that Hayden made this thread so if the Dolphins lose he can say "Thanks Mr. Ross, I told you that your press conference flustered our boys."

Good comeback.

Wasn't a comeback, it was the truth.

Can we ever go a gameday without a hayden fox meltdown? C'mon man loosen up and enjoy the game.

Can't do it man...nutted up. Should have seen me at Gillette. I had to keep all feelings inside not to make a scene AND my cell phone broke so I could not rant on the GDT. I almost blew up like the Death Star.

I do not want the Fins to lose...I live and die with Wins and Loses.

Mr. Ross can do what he wants with his team... As it's been said, the players don't watch the pre-game show. The Bucs don't watch the pre-game show and the fans in the stadium don't really do it either...

I don't see where I said anything about you wanting them to lose. I just merely stated if we lost, you had an out. Perhaps you should go back to school and learn about reading comprehension.

Well Ross is the boss. If you know what I mean. He can do whatever he wants. As long as he is in charge. But he felt he needed to speak out. If he wants to do it, so be it whether like it or not.

No distraction to players geared up to play. Enjoy the game Hayden.

I still do not think that Joe makes it in the end. He had to give a vote of confidence for the sake of the rest of the season.

We shall see what happens tonight. Hope I am dead wrong...Go Fins.

That is my problem. I can never enjoy a game...lol. It is a nasty cycle.

I appreciate Mr. Ross attempting to get ahead of the brewing controversy with his team. However, this press conference could have been done Friday or tomorrow...not two hours before a huge game on national TV. Ross' timing has never been impeccable (Florida Gators Day and forcing his team up to NY a day earlier to see a Lombardi play are two that come to mind).

I was not totally against everything he said. The content was fine and he has to protect his brand name. I do think he is making a mistaking doubling down on Joe without the investigation not even close to being finished. I am not sure what is so special about Joe Philbin as a HC (let's see how hard this team plays for him tonight). However, my issue right now is the timing. You know the players caught wind that he was giving a major presser and would be interested in the content. Do it tomorrow in Davie on an off day.

Play the game tonight.

But then he wouldn't be on prime time tv! Lol we all know Ross is all about the lights camera action
