i dont drink the kool aid like some of you, this was organized planned, scripted to a tee by mr mike dee. The marshall thing was 1 thing, but striking out on 3 qbs there is nothing ross could say to get more false hopes for the fans after that. I'll support the dolphins no matter how bad we are but doesnt mean i agree with the decisions being made from the top.

Never has opinion changed on a player so much in afew days. From what a beast to he really wasnt that good lol. When a dolphin people defend him to end about his woman beating ways, soon as he is traded he is a low life . Went from great teammate for calling out players not playing hard to a cancer. Talk about spin

He was arrested a dozen times before we traded for him, not once as a dolphin so either we were stupid to trade for him or we were not

I was going to post the same thing that you quoted.

However, the phone conversation was setup as stated in the article. It's not like Ross got his number and surprised him with a call without notice.

Ross was willing to take time out of his day to call this random fan and I'm sure that a representative contacted Mr. Lawrence well in advanced and laid out the ground rules for the conversation and Lawrence either agreed or didn't get a phone call.

Lawrence sounds like a booger eater IMO. Just some guy who probably took the day off to protest something he cares about which is fine, but then he proceeds to have a casual conversation with basically the person he's protesting and then calls it the "coolest thing I ever did in my whole life."

I don't care who you are...talking Dolphins football with anyone these days is not cool or exciting. Checking my mail in the nude is much more cool than that.

This guy needs some hobbies.
 
first ireland, now ross, both public statements by 2 have been everything dolphin fans already knew was coming. Lets face it, they wont ever tell the fans anything that is there future plans. He said a hole lotta nothing as usual, He would not if they were rebuilding which clearly they are.....

Don't kid yourselves.

This protest made the organization look AWFUL in the national light. Try to understand that.

Ross & Ireland didn't like this protest one bit. It reflects badly on the franchise, the team, and the new head coach.

Ross calling this guy and giving him what he wanted was nothing more than a PR move to smooth this whole protest over. Ross identified one of the primary protesters with some tenure in the season ticket program and reached out. Fans think this was a good gesture by the owner and now they've kinda lowered their pitchforks.

Not bad by Mr. Ross.

Ross has always said what he should say when he does reach out to the fans. I think he messed up when he said he will draft a QB. should have left that up in the air. teams will probably pick up on that and may waant to move up for Qb's in this draft, especially if we are targeting Tanny​
