Round of Applause for MR Ross.

I dont understand the hate for Ireland. This guy alone has brought more talent to this team than any prior coaches or GM's we have had in fifteen years!! People wake up and smell the coffee!! Jeff Ireland understands and recognizes talent. Thats why he is still around!!

I think the hatred for Ireland is a joke as well. Like someone else pointed out without him no Reggie Bush, no Brandon Marshall, no Karlos Dansby, no Cameron Wake. You would rather give control over to someone who had the title and authority for 12 years (out of 16) to make personel decisions and could never get a title then someone that has had full authority for one? It makes no sense. His hatred is fueled by a media that has no clue what they are talking about.

So not giving in to someone's demands is now considered offering the job. Fisher was interviewed. Fisher laid out his demands. Dolphins didn't accept. Fisher laid in limbo waiting for us to give in. We didn't. Fisher took Rams. At no time was he offered our job.

Also consider this was the 1st year Ireland was responsible alone for FA and the Draft, and it can be said that this was probably our best off-season in a very long time.

Very Good Point. . . Moore, Bush, Pouncey, J wilson, Clay, Burnett, and Thomas in one offseason is a nice offseason in my opinion
 
Don't tell the idiots at PFT that. They just report as if we lost a bidding war.

Yeah and now we can throw a young talented quarterback in there with a higher chance of success since we actually have talent.

Even Clyde if he continues to improve, could be at the very least, a very explosive returner, and at best, great returner and a very dangerous deep threat.

Exactly. I am actually very excited to see how good Clay could be in his 2nd year, hopefully whomever become the HC, understand Miami needs to be more aggresive on offense, and they have the players to do it, other then a better starting QB. No offense to Moore.

I don't understand all the love for Ireland..our record indicates he is such a good GM!!
 
if Sparano wasn't so conservative, we would be a playoff team!! .... He alone was the reason we did not make playoffs, due to the fact the team was not prepared to start the season when it started 0-7. This team was out of shape and unprepared when the season started. Thats not Jeff Ireland's fault. That's Sparano's fault!
