Round of Applause for MR Ross.

We may have lost the PR battle, but in the long run we may be better off with our coach and GM working as a team instead of giving one guy power over absolutely everything.

I would have welcomed Zimmer, but now I'm turning my attention to hoping Zimmer gets it.

Ireland will look a lot better if he hits on a young QB in the draft. I don't think anything else matters at this point.

He'd look a lot better if he hit on Dalton last year. Or hell even Yates or even Murray over Thomas.

I agree also. Fisher is not that great of a coach and his personnel moves in the past were suspect.

Yeah. Moore turned out to be a great value but on the flip side, there was a lot of good value to be found in last year's draft. Honestly, I think he has a good chance to redeem himself this year. Guys like Tannehill and Weeden intrigue me and I think both will be available for us.

If the GM is called Jeff Fuuucking Ireland he should be overruled ! FIRE IRELAND ! 3 losing seasons and Ross still believes in him.If the Dolphins don´t draft a Qb in the 1st round or sign Flynn Ireland should be served as barbecue

Moore was a great value. I think he's one of the best backups in the league. But as for a long term solution the excuse for Ireland in the last draft was that there weren't any good QBs left. Yet there are two rookie QBs starting playoff games who were taken well within range of us. I think Dalton is flat out great and Yates is a good late round flier for a team with QB issues like we are. Dalton was a total miss by Ireland and it's a lot to hope that he'll suddenly be aggressive and strike gold in this upcoming draft. That maybe next year mentality can be dangerous.

I'm still mad we didn't take a chance on Mallett in the second round. That would have been a much better reach than Daniel Thomas. But I'm going to take my own advice and just move on from that one.

Fair enough. I agree with you man. That moment when we traded up in the 2nd and it seemed we were aggressively moving up to take a chance on Mallett only to take Thomas with Murray just sitting there... well that was the Dolphins fan experience of the past decade compressed into a second.

I have to say i never really thought that Fisher was all that great but id Like to thank Ross for standing up and refusing to give into Fishers Personnel demands. The Gm shouldn't be over ruled on General Management decisions By the head coach. Thank you MR ross. I Know many fans will flame you for this decision in the short term BUT in a few years many of us will be thanking you for standing ground! I believe that for the first time in about a decade the Miami Dolphins are finally on the right track thanks to this decision to not give int a head coaches demands to try and hold us hostage!

:hclap::hclap::hclap::hclap:

GO PHINS!!

P.s. Go get CHUD!
I agree. Fisher was okay but I really did not think he could be anything but okay. An 8-8 season, maybe a 9-7 season. Nothing spectacular just like in Tenn.. I don't think Jeff Ir. is all that bad. He has made some good draft choices compared to the other clowns that were drafting for the Fins if you really look at it. Yea, he hasn't found the ultimate OB yet but Moore step in and won some games. I really do think the team needs besides a QB and O-line help is defense. They are good but they are not great. They need to be great. Draft LB's .They have to find some help for Wake. We all know that but I think L. Landry for the skins would be a nice pickup for some safety help. They need help back there. Really they do-(this is to the best corner tandem in the league. Oh yea. Give a truck load of money to Finnley form GB.

Yea way to go Ross.... We wouldn't want a coach with a proven track record that would have been able to assemble an all star staff.

It's much better to keep Jeff "What's a playmaker?" Ireland

What track record?

As far as assembling a coaching staff, if I was Ross and Ireland I would demand we keep our current coaching staff. I like Daboll and Nolan alot. I'm all for finding a HC that is willing to work with these men.

Really, let see NE is in the playoff and where are we? Great job Ireland

Really?

It just amazes me hearing the fans about to jump from the cliff on the radio!?! haha This is a situation where we all fell in love with the hot girl at the dance...problem is we fell too much in love with her cause she was the only pretty girl there. (BTW when i say we i speak of fans in general and not me)

Dont forget Ross was in love with that pretty girl too and got turned down so dont put it all on the fans

Failure is a step in the right direction.. Cam Cameron is that you? Fisher went 13-3 with Kerry Collins just 3 years ago. He has won over 12 games 4 times. Our franchise hasn't won over 12 games in over 20 years. Debating the "mediocrity" of Jeff Fisher is pointless now, but regardless of how you feel about Fisher, Ross went after him and missed. He didn't make some brilliant decision by forcing Fisher to reject him. He just missed.

That's it, that's all you got? Really, 3 years ago?

Wasn't it 4 years ago the Dolphins were projected to win 3-5 games and instead a team lead by Pennington and Sprano they won the AFC East? Why did we fire Sprano again? Sorry dude, weak.
