Per Rotoworld: "Ryan Tannehill is blaming poor footwork for an inaccurate start to the season"
About did a spitake on this comment. He's in his 3rd year in the NFL and he's still trying to figure out his footwork? Most scouts will tell you that's something they want corrected and in place before they ever get to the NFL. While I realize he hasn't played the position forever like some guys, it still shouldn't be a "work in progress" into your third year in the pros. Not sure if that's completely his fault or a lack of coaching? Regardless, until he stops throwing behind receivers and staring down his main target, he will be more of a liability than benefit to this team. I've been trying to give him time to "develop", but I keep seeing the same things from him that he's been struggling with the previous 2 years. He better start making huge strides the rest of this year, otherwise I think we may have another Chad Henne.
Lazor came in this offseason and is trying to correct the errors of Sherman's poor coaching here. Any player of worth is always working on their craft and techniques. It is easily correctable once the old habits are ditched and the new training is engrained into his muscle memory so to speak. It's really not that big of a deal and hopefully you were able to swallow that beverage with out much strain.
