Ryan Tannehill Names Himself Starter for Week 4

Why is this everyone's answer to replace Philbin?

to me its clear that Lazor is an up and coming star coach. listen to an interview and say he doesn't sound impressive. he also has gotten the running game going. Miller has over 200 yards and Knowshon has over 100. thats over 100 yards a game right there. I have faith he can also coach up Tannehill he only has had a few months on the job.

This play was discussed a lot in another thread and the consensus was Miller should have been the first read on that play too. Its probably just an easy TD, thats all. On the bright side it wasn't a sack. AND RUN THE ****ING BALL LAZOR!!

isn't the RB usually one of the last reads. that was a check down option, check down implies not the first read

I don't disagree with the assessment but if Philbin goes before the end of the year we will have more time to judge Lazor if he's the interim HC.

No he gave up because it's popular on Finheaven.

Yes I love fin heaven so much lol. Im watching the games dude

And for the record I think we should stick with Tannehill for at least a few more weeks if not the season. I just have little to no faith in him getting us anywhere

honestly I feel like Coyle would be the interim guy due to experience at coaching but thats all on hickey i think

No because he missed that wide open rb that would have went for 20 yards and threw into great coverage

The play was a quick pass to hartline. there was not enough time to go through his progression. it was drawn up that way by the OC. So Tannehill didn't miss anything.

Its not a check down situation, its a blitz. Miller saw it. Tannehill didn't.

No, it was most likely his hot read. Read the blitz, give it to the hot read.

Lets take a look at Lamar Miller on this play!

That pass should have been complete.

Any pass that hits a WR in both hands should be complete. NO MATTER HOW CONTESTED IT IS.

That's one of the problems over the last few years here in Miami -- giving money for low-level WRs to play high-level positions, fully incapable of catching a contested ball.

IF Miami ever gets a WR that can win w. speed and physicality AND catch contested balls with more than a T-Rex stubby-arm catch radius, some of you are gonna be shocked.

All that gif proves is that Hartline needs upgraded yesterday, if not sooner.

Hot read. Ball out. Hits WRs hands. And WR falls down w. first brief contact, not willing to be more physical than the DB.

You know what else has been a common theme? Not taking what a defense is giving you and choosing the more difficult throw, especially given our lack of physical toughness in these WR's.

Happy that Ryan has stepped up. Lord knows his coach took a pass at leadership.

Great. But I wish he would do that on the field.

Isn't there a double standard here? Criticizing Philbin for going to the media but hailing Tannehill for it?

In my opinion both should shut their mouth until they actually do their jobs properly.
