Don't say that. The tannehill supporters will shout you down that its OK tannehill missed a wide open we and instead forced a call to a we with a db draped all over him
the ball hit hartline on both hands. the blitz dictated a quick pass to his first read. Miller wasnt his first read and may have missed his assignment to stay in and block. you can bash Tannehill for many things but not this play. pick your battles

He should have known no one was covering miller. Easy read.... Easy. And yet..... Missed read. Another forced ball. Another drop
the bold is the key. no drop and no problem with the play. Tannehill saw the blitz and got the ball well placed into his guys hands. a perfect pass in tight coverage is still a perfect pass and a drop. again you can bash him for many reasons. but not this play it would have been a 1st down

Throw to the open rb. Much larger gain. Possible touchdown.

yeah its easy when looking at a replay multiple times... Got the ball out quick on the blitz? check! threw an accurate ball and hit the WR in both hands in stride? check! First down! Oh wait, the receiver dropped it... dang! Let me ask you this, if Tannehill takes a second more to go around his reads and gets sacked, will you blame him for holding it to long?
thats a 30 or 40 yard gain right there at least

he is deflecting. his must excuse Tannehill at all costs is really must blame Tannehill at all costs. he deflects it onto anyone who doesn't blame Tannehill for a dropped pass
