Ryan Tannehill: The Objective Evidence

Mmmmhh, Would you be so kind to point at the supporting evidence that brought such response? Are you not aware of the correct use of clauses and interjections?

Good god (interjection) Interjections do not belong to the structure of the sentence they either open or close and must be separated by a comma.

when your grammar is this (pronoun used as an adverb to represent the statement quoted above) bad there's (correct use of the contraction of there is) little (quantitative adjective) beyond (adverb in this case used to establish an imaginary limit) keeping (gerund, thus a non conjugated verb and part of the following idiomatic expression) things simple you can do (declarative syntax, not a question yet), huh? (widely used interjection used to infer a tag ended or confirmation question).

Do you need any more help dissecting complex English?

Yeah, let's all go with dissecting the language, and forget about football, and the team's 4 game losing streak. Sounds like a GREAT idea but, I have found LOT'S OF BEER to be better.

Sorry if you find any grammatical or spelling mistakes, and frankly Scarlet, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!!!

Not trying to win a popularity contest. :)
What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Just my opinion but your agenda is transparent. The entire team is playing poorly yet the only statistical data you provide concerns QB play. Over and over and over and over.........

Not trying to win a popularity contest. :)

And doing a Hell of A Job in NOT doing so. LOL

Point is that you are not gonna make any points with EXTREME stats. IF you are looking to change any minds, that has to be tempered. Then again, maybe you don't care about that, and just wish to show the extreme stats for a good grade.

Trust me, it ain't gonna be coming from this forum. :)

Plea to Admins: Can we pleeeeeease consolidate all threads based on agenda-driven stats into one "Stats Arguments" super-thread going forward ?

Do you really think there's any credibility in the polling of fans who desperately want to see one thing and not see another?

You seem to be really confused about your forum peers. Some of the posters here are also some of the harshest critics of our players. You think because we want a franchise QB we are going to defend any ****ty QB that plays for us? That fans will defend and QB we have because they are "desperate"?? Get a ****ing clue dude.

Shou, with your logic, we might as well disregard gallup polls. You know, the polls that ACCURATELY PREDICT THE OUTCOME OF ELECTIONS WITHIN +/- 3%.

This. Thank you x1,000,000

And what we're doing here is the equivalent of polling a group of staunch Republicans (or Democrats, take your pick), only.

How do you think that poll would turn out? You think you'd get unbiased results?

Thats not whats going on here at all. Are you suggesting that because we are fans of the team, we cannot accurately judge the players on the team? The idea that people here lack credibility because they are fans is a load of horse****.

Which clue do you figure I should shoot for? How 'bout the one the majority of the forum had in its appraisal of Chad Henne. You know, the one that sort of disproves your point? ;)

If we can counter extreme subjectivity with extreme stats, perhaps we'll arrive at a middle ground that better approximates reality. :)

The fact that you keep bringing up Chad Henne like he is some kind of measuring stick for Ryan Tannehill is just beyond stupid.

Right now I would say Tannehill is an average to below average QB. He has his moments where he looks good and you think he can be our franchise QB for the next ten years, but right now he is not making good throws, he is holding the ball too long, getting sacked too often (partially his fault) and just too inconsistent. If he doesn't step it up we could be drafting another "franchise" qb.....you cannot win without one.

We are polling Americans, who have the right to choose one party or another. Just like how I polled dolphins fans who can choose what they feel is most wrong with the team. Again, by your logic, gallup polls are worthless and don't provide insight.... which couldn't be further from the truth.

By your logic, gallup polls should include non Americans because, you know, who better would know what's happening in this country than someone who lives outside the country. Great logic.

/insert meaningless smiley face here

Confucious say's he who jumps on and off band wagon often breaks ankles.

What he's a measuring stick for is the reliability of the forum's quarterback appraisals, and the fact that you haven't yet grasped that is.... ;)
