Pennington will be able to get it going through the air, which will allow the run defense to open up, allowing the R&R express to run wild. They will have a big game. Go Dolphins!!!!!!!

I didnt know that. They do give up alot of passing yards but i ddint know they were dead last. Hope it stays that way after this sunday

They are also though in the top half of the league in rush Defense. I would rather see Ronnie and Ricky penetrate that 14th ranked rushing Defense than have to rely on Pennington to win the game.

Rather run the ball. Cromartie can shut down any of our receivers alone. God I wish we drafted him instead of Jason Allen.

Its too early in the season to bank on those rankings. I'd wait until the midpoint of the season to see how accurate they are......

yep that's true, don't throw any balls his way or he'll make us pay...

i actually think the best matchup we have coming into this game is our TEs against their safetys and linebackers.... i'm telling you, if fasano doesn't catch 100 yards or so, we will lose that game. the run will be very hard to establish and our receivers will face good corners...

This stat surprises me.

I thought Cromartie was doing very good.

But you do have to take a look at the pass happy QBs they have faced, Favre, Brees, Russell. Dont let the stats fool you. We have to get R&R involved to open up the pass.

It's funny how stats like that mean somthing when they are applied to other teams, but, if they are applied to the Dolphins, they mean nothing. Didn't we have this debate a couple of weeks ago? :)

I bet Denver fans are glad the Broncos didn't feel this way when Brandon Marshall was catching most of 18 receptions on Cromartie.

Look at our receivers. they can shut us down if we dont get the run game going.

We're definitely going to need to drum up some hell of a game plan on these guys. Who cares if they're ranked 32nd in the league on passing yards given up, we can't get the ball downfield. Pennington's game opened up against the pats only due to the effectiveness of the Wildcat formation IMO. I hope he proves me wrong and I hope he's been working on his accuracy and strength for a vertical passing game. We shall see on Sunday.

I can't believe I'm going to give backhanded props to Jay Cutler, but the rifle he calls an arm is a totally different animal from Pennington's. On the short routes and such, it gives him an edge. Even so, that was Cro's worst game as a pro and, frankly, a controversial loss at best all the same.

Pennington was shreading the middle of the field BEFORE we even used the Wildcat formation. We only used that formation six times all game and Pennington was not the QB on any of them.

I agree and that's where the timing between Pennington and the receivers, along with the formations used, will have to be as good if not better than it was against New England.
