I get the impatience.....but it will happen. There is no way Turner can stay after this....or should he be allowed to.
The Dolphins want to act....but they don't want to overreact. If they just fire Turner, the question then becomes....what about Pouncey and Jerry? Figure out what you are doing with everyone and then do it all at once.
My guess, Turner let go, Pouncey and Jerry in counseling.

Umm...Dansby played the entire 2012 season in Miami.
What upset Philbin about Dansby comments was that he didn't keep his displeasure about the situation in-house.
I am starting to get the feeling he won't get fired. He won't get fired because the Miami Dolphins know damn well that the HC knows a lot more than Ted Wells wants to admit. And Turner is not going to take the fall all by himself. So Stephen Ross is waiting and hoping that the NFL (instead of him) will take action against Turner. I don't believe for one second, that the HC knew nothing. We were not born yesterday.

Unless Ross forces him to let him go there is no way Phibin fires him.. Philbin is soft and would rather let the team suffere then fire a friend.

It could be that Ross is in discussions with the NFL. Not saying he has any leverage or anything, but he may be getting all the details worked out on a plan that would be acceptable to the commish. That way, since they all will be on the same page, everybody will be happy. I guess I should say, most everybody will be happy (mostly to put this crap behind us), but not you Jim, or me if they take away some draft picks.
I agree, don't forget about Richie....sexually assaults a female volunteer and everything is hidden from the media and he is fined but still on the team....smh
If that's the case I will enjoy Hickey cleaning house at the end of next yr......how can you keep a guy who did his job so poorly? The OL played good in some games and in others looked like the players didn't belong in the NFL....the inconsistency of the line should have been enough to get him terminated, add in the report finding and he should be looking for a new career
Philbin hired Jim Turner he should be fired with Jim Turner.
Yet another situation where lawyers are probably involved and a PR crisis hangs in the balance. They're trying to avoid Turner going on a slash & burn campaign which would impugn Philbin to the point of having to fire him.
