Sometimes the team gets ambushed by a player with character issues and sometimes the team gets burned when they take a chance on a player with 'history'... Hey listen I don't mind giving guys second chances... BUT Management at the LEAST has to be held accountable for putting the team in a precarious position... That's the double edged sword.

Incognito should hire Mark O'Mara and destroy Martin in public. He is not a "clean kid" as all are making him to believe. Martin hazed others, played dozens back to Incognito, never said a blurb about possible harassment and has motives outside of a "bad work environment" going on here.

His lawyers released text messages and voicemails, and then they promptly clammed up again. They are letting the media run with it. It's a smart strategy. The only wild card here is the Dolphins owner, who may or may not decide to go ballistic on this at some point.

Your right its about the money. Bullying and racism has been running high marks in the media the past 3-4 years and this is juciy meat for the media to chomp on. If the players especialy the new ones like Ellerbee and Wallace are supporting Incog over Martin that tells me a bunch of what is going on here. There is less racism in a NFL locker room than almost any other working place in this country it is a whole different enviroment. Incogs big mouth just cost him more than he will ever recover in this one.

Like mentioned above, how could Turner NOT have known? I understand, he didn't hear the VMs or see the texts, but unless Richie is Dr Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde, I'm sure his feeling for Martin were very obvious.
If we find out Turner knew and did nothing, he will get the axe. If he knew and told Philbin, etc, then it will only get uglier...

- Texts and voicemails are months old, yet plenty of pictures of Incog and Martin hanging out having laughs and smiles.

- Martin complaints about harrasement, but no one in the locker room noticed anything "extreme".

- Martin holds onto texts and voicemails for 7 months?

- Martin storms out of cafeteria over prank he himself pulled on Garner a week earlier?

- Martin complaints of extreme hazing but stole Samuda's car?

- Lockeroom pretty much talking about Incog being a great guy and a team leader.

Exactly! Why did this kid keep a VMail from APRIL! Martin couldnt handle not being the best guy in the room, so he walked out like a wuss that he is and threw a fit. Now everyone is paying for it. Because 'Why Now?' is not important.. Certainly not in the eyes of the law. Those texts/VM's simply speak to the credibility of Martin's claim... They PROVE undeniably there is a HISTORY of abuse.

Through all of this paranoid rhetoric about Martin's secret agenda to get rich... And choosing to ambush the 'world' with his claims at his 'chosen time'... There is an equally plausible (actually more than plausible) counterpoint... That Martin complained about these PROVEN abuses long ago to trusted sources that may or may not have included team members/coaches or family... and was advised by these friends, confidantes or family to not rock the boat... To try and solve the issue but to KEEP those texts and VM's as evidence if the situation GOT WORSE.

The Bully/Tormentor is not the one who decides when it is enough... It is the victim.
