They are likely relieved if not jubilant that he's gone. It probably will also include secretary types and other low to mid level employees, the same types who held a party when Saban left. In short, everything from here out damns Incognito. Martin will continue to be attacked only by the birther types, the ones who clutch that trophy line as if it has any semblance of accuracy or value. Seriously, are we really going to trot out that everybody gets a trophy line again? That was worn out and pathetic during the last campaign, when the fear brigade tried it. the problem here is Jonathan Martin and how he is mentally unstable. He has no business on an NFL team and should be in a mental clinic. Cut ties with him. He sucks and he is a headcase. The team will be fine and we won't have to worry about this.

Richie's dad made many of the same accusations. N word, one of two lineman worth a damn, pro-bowler, mental instability...

Regardless, lets go there. Lets talk talent. Incognito is a washed up 30 something idiot who has been publicly called out for being "dirty"(one could say cheater) and is easily replaced. Like he just was this past draft by Dallas Thomas, a player most feel is a natural left guard. Best to just cut ties with the dirty player now. Certainly the level of play cant get any worse from our o-line.

You know who's really good at fist fighting? Sociopaths. In my neighborhood growing up the very scariest guy in the whole place was a 5'9, 140 pound Florida cracker. An absolute ****ing menace, this guy. I was 6'1 and 200lbs when I was 15 and have always been intimidating but he scared the **** out me as he did everyone. Once his son got hurt playing football and he raged up to the guy who did it and threatened to put him into the hospital in front of witnesses. Nobody said a damn word including the kid, who was still trembling about 15 minutes after the dude left. Eventually he was arrested for assault and selling drugs, which shocked no one. I don't know what happened to him but I assume he died in prison.

Martin was a 2nd round pick and a starter in the league. Not a very good one, but a starter. So, okay. He's probably not very good at punching people. That's also not his job. This is, after all, a football team, not the golden gloves. People get way too wrapped up in the modern day gladiator bit. Philip Merling went full on gladiator with his girlfriend and he still sucked, as do most of the players who end up getting outed as thugs.

Clearly Shefter is all worked up over making life miserable for Incognito but he wont succeed taking the team down with him unless we dont win. Its that simple.

Adam Shefter has a clear agenda here. He did not have his facts right on the Liv Club thang.

What Shefter is really doing long term here is players around the league will not interview lightly with him or do it at all. And all the media will circle its wagons around Shefter....until they all make asses of themselves when they start to realize the public is not at all that interested after a couple days.

Two wrongs dont make a right. Just because other rookies dont have a problem with being insulted because of their skin colors, people threatening their families, and being told they were going to be killed doesnt mean Martin was wrong for finding that insulting. NFL locker rooms arent a free pass to do whatever you want.

I get what you are saying, and ive probably come after you a bit too passionately, that these are salty characters. But at the same time, there was a systematic failure by our franchise in the dysfunction of this situation. I get tough love, but this passed well over that into dysfunction. MARTIN is not an nfl quality player. he knew that during his first camp last year. he couldnt play rt tackle and obviously cant play lt.

so, now that he was demoted and probably on his way to perma bench and then out of the nfl all together, what do you do with your life now that all that nfl money is going dry up?

but, i am sure egnew is being bugged night and day right now by the martin family attorney to sink incognito. and i am sure their legal team has those episodes of hard knocks in hand and ready to play in a court of law. and they could throw some HUGE money at egnew for his biased testimony and coupled with that hard knocks video, it could be potent.

its all about money folks. he knows his time in the nfl and its ritches are short lived and he is using a scorched earth strategy to exit with a nice bag of nfl cash.

i wont miss him. doesnt sound like his team mates will either.
