Schein: Ross is clueless and Miami has the worst quarterback corps in the league

Along with those nearly 5000 yards passing, to go with those 29 TDs(all of which you readily dismiss), he led a top 5 NFL offense(both passing and total offense). What more evidence do you need?

I don't dismiss 29 TDs, that's a nice season but w/ 16 INTs and leading a team to 9-7 that take s a little lusyer of 29 TDs. The O may have been 5th in pass yds but was 9th in pts scored.

If he doesn't have the huge offensive #s(which he never has) he needs great pts scored and team #s. 9-7 in a mediocre division, 9th in pts scored isn't cutting it w/ his individual #s.

NFCE 3 also rans: no winning records, combined 21-27
AFCE 3 also rans: no winning records, combined 20-28,

........ but but but but...
one of the also rans in the AFCE (13th in pts scored/20th in pts allowed) is "elite" ???

yeah right!!!!

The divisions were similarly mediocre except the best team in our division was better in the reg season. 9 wins wasn't winning our division meaning they likely wouldn't have made the playoffs in our division. 9 wins was only good enough to win 2 divisions- the NFC East and AFC West.

The Jets were not elite last year but over the 3 years of Rex they have been. Thanks for asking, I look forward to your awful photoshop whining about breaks the Jets got.

1,500 yds less than Manning definitely puts him in the next group....whatever that is.

is the goal to throw for more yds or lead your O to more pts? Eli only had 3 more TDs, only 2 less INts, led his team to 1 more win and his O to 2 more PPG. I didn't realize how clsoe Mark was to becoming elite.

as I look forward to your "Mr Columbus, I don't care what you saw, from where I sit the world is flat!!!" embarrassingly puerile homeristic claims and consequent whining about objective folks with the audacity to rudely puncture the reality that exists solely in your noggin.

FWIW, the jest were a ****, choking team from sept thru dec 09 and a lucky team 2 games beyond that, a decent team in 10 and a mediocre one last season. If that constitutes "elitism" then I'm the King of England! Now if you want to discuss what's legitimately "elite" let's talk about The Heat, a team that's already won 26 playoff games and has made it to the equivalent of 2 SBs in 2 years.

The Giants allowed 400 points which equates to 5th most in the NFC and 8th worst in the entire NFL.

Losing 27-20 to SF - 84.5 rating
Losing 49-24 to NO - 101.9 rating
Losing 38-35 to GB- 100.7 rating

It's his fault the defense couldn't stop these teams? Okay he throws a pick 6 to Clay Matthews but GB still 31 had additional points. You can't 100% blame Manning for the Giants going 9-7.

He led the Giants to a game the Jets haven't sniffed in 43 years. Your point? Mark Sanchez isn't close to elite nor are the Jets.

At SF: threw 2 INTs including one down 20-13 that led to SF going up 27-13 and winning 27-20. should he get credit for having a good game?
at NO: garbage time #s, team was down 21-3 at half. 400+ yds were completely meaningless
GB: played well but did thrown an INT for a TD and they lost by 3 but he played well that day. I'm guessing you are just blaming the D for this game so we can take credit from Eli in postseason when the Giants D played great and was the biggest reason they went on that run?

He led? he got 2 TOs deep in SF territory that led to their only pts in the 2nd half and OT, if sanchez got that the jets make the SB too or if they rule Sanchez's fumble an incomplete pass like they called the Bradshaw fumble incomplete.

Agreed. Jest are a good team most Sundays, and a mediocre team some Sundays. That doesn't add up to elite.

last 3 years:

-ONLY team to reach 2 conf title games

That's eltie, don't let vaarks pathetic excuses fool you.

Yep.

Still elite. Very non-Jets like.

0 Super Bowl appearances is not elite. There is nothing better than elite. Elite is elite. If you can't get to the Super Bowl in 43 years, you aren't nor ever were elite.

Anyone find it funny that getting to 2 AFC championships before a mediocre 8-8 season is considered elite, but winning 2 Super Bowls in 5 years is NOT elite?

I'm sorry man, but this is the biggest load of BS ever.
