I see what you are saying now, thanks for the responce. I though Spiel Technically had all of the power, but I thought I had missed something. You are right as well, Spielman needs to take charge of this team if he is the one responsible for building it. Because him letting Fiedler stay could turn into a bomb in more ways than one. More team turmoil, switching QB's, etc..... Thanks again man !dolphindan1970 said:I agree that Dave should step up and say exactly that. But he hasnt. He says he is going to play whomever gives us the best chance to win at that time, and that I think is a big mistake. Just a question because I am confused here on something. Why does Dave have to agree to anything ? Is Spielman not the GM now ? And does he not have complete control over who he wants to keep ? I thought Dave talked him into keeping Fiedler earlier in the year when Spiel wasgoing to trade him, did I miss something or misunderstand the situation ?

You got that right, Im hoping AJ lights the thing up like the 4th of July !Trekbiz said:Were definitely in the minority in that belief but I really feel keeping Jay was a mistake and one that Rick should'nt have given into.
We'll see what happens.
If Wanny won't back AJ enough hopefully the guy can play his way into the leadership role on his own quickly enough while still learning the ropes.
Makes you wonder about the intelligence of the players who did that.....how low are we falling?CrunchTime said:Jay Fiedler is so well-respected among teammates that numerous players approached to commiserate with him about his benching. Several aren't convinced A.J. Feeley will be an upgrade
