its been a month since weve won a game. emotions are flying on the chat boards, hopefully the players are just as passionate. new england might be in for a grinder. our 3rd down d needs to improve and then we are a completely different team

Gee I don't know .... why don't you ask a guy who continues to post thread after thread, using stats, commentary of experts and selected visual aids to try to prove his one sided point in the face stiff opposition by those with a bit more common sense?

Fact of the matter is Tannehill is consistently NOT making plays. Sharpe did a great job on highlighting a couple passes that should have been made. If RT attempted those passes he would NOT have been sacked.

RT has not shown me any improvement from last year and he is playing SCARED. Not what you like to see from someone who is projected to be your "franchise" QB.

Sharpe has completely valid points. This offense should be better and whatever happened to the quick read and throw that this offense is supposed to be?

And you really think he believes, as a former NFL player, that every sack Tannehill has taken is his fault. :unsure:

You're just reaching for whatever you can get your mitts on to discredit the entire point, "reaching" being the key word. :)

What is your agenda?
No one here is saying RT is blameless, but his mistakes are expected considering his lack of polish out of college and his relative inexperience compared to his peers(Luck-3 yr starter, Wilson 4 yr starter or Kaepernick 4 year starter plus redshirt plus NFL redshirt).
Not only was RT only a 2 year starter but I am certain that his 2 years as a WR deprived him of QB development.

Why is Sterling sharp even having a video montage about this? RT is only a kid. Can we not let him develop in peace. I almost prefer things last year when he was anonymous. Now the media only built him up to break him down.

Tannehill isn't good enough to carry the offense on his back yet but one day he will be.
He has the physical, mental, and emotional tools to be a big time winner for us. Let just let him grow in peace.

Do the people who have posted in this thread who support Sharpe's view, and even those who espouse a viewpoint in which Tannehill shares the blame with the offensive line, appear to be being "baited"?

I realize this is oversimplifying the matter, and I may be setting myself up to get flamed from both sides of the argument, but at the end of the day don't most of us agree that regardless of where the blames lies or how much of it lies with whom, or how you come to that conclusion, Tannehill has to improve his game if this team is going to win?

It seems that there are so many threads on this topic, and even the ones that aren't initially about it eventually turn into it which ends up derailing good threads. It would be nice to have a master thread for the debate of, 'Tannehill .vs the Line:Whose Fault Is It'. Plus, it would be easier to reference posts if they were all in the same thread. There is actually some great discourse and valuable info and insight that gets posted in those debates, but it gets lost sometimes by the disjointed nature of having one conversation spread out over many threads.
