Sherman is 'Running' the team

Give me some examples please what decisions can Sherman make as OC that should be made by the HC that the players wouldn't know about......

I already did. Picking the QB. And who said the players wouldn't know about stuff.
Sherman had a huge hand in shaping this team.

Why is it that fans can assume things about Jeff Ireland like it was ALL his idea to jettison Bush, Long, Dansby and Burnett and that Philbin had nothing to little to do with it, but when something like this comes out from actual writer, Philbin backers say, "I highly doubt this is true"?

I think Philbin got rid of Dansby personally. And it showed he was weak and unable to coach "anyone". He needs his hand selected players. Philbin can't coach difficult people it looks like.

so the moral of the story is say enough negative things and eventually you'll get a thing or 2 right. Glad I learned something today.

Just to tag on to the MORAL OF THE STORY slant. The best rumours are ones created in situations that it can be believed. I've always thought Philbin was in an odd situation with Sherman. So I believe it to the extent of which makes sense to me. Which is to SOME extent. I thought it was terrible Sherman was the one who put the QB on the table. Further, we saw some very strange OC comments this year. For example we lost a game because we were" giving guys the planned reps" rather than putting the winners on the field. What does Sherman think it was preseason. Where was Philbin? How about the snap count thing? Marino went nuts when Buffalo knew the snap count and JJ wouldn't let him change up at the line. Where was Philbin on the snap count? Players made comments. No way McKinnie stays if Philbin acts as normal, getting rid of those that speak.
No there is evidence that Sherman's situation ain't quite right.

So Sherman has final say on QBs, which proves he's running Philbin. And Philbin gets to decide which players we cut due to some morbid obsession with "leader" types. So whats Ireland doing, still just getting coffee?

I think Philbin got rid of Dansby personally. And it showed he was weak and unable to coach "anyone". He needs his hand selected players. Philbin can't coach difficult people it looks like.

I think Philbin was hired more from a personality standpoint over an ability standpoint. Wasn't there this need to bring in people who "represented the organization in the right way"?

Hence get rid of malcontents and agitators. Fortunately or Unfortunately you need guys like that in this gladiator sport.

It's, apparent Philbin is a follower and not a leader what can players /fans expect. That's why he does not want to separate from Sherman, and then its QB coach (son in law) Heck who else in Shermans family works for Dolphins? So don't think Sherman has some major control of this team. Dont't forget about defense it's just as bad! CLEANNNNNNN HOUSE save a team this dysfunctional coaching staff has got to go!
