Shockey chooses Panthers

So much for Shockey saying that it would be his dream to play for the Miami Dolphins. It sounds like his wet dream had certain contract payment parameters... He's not what he used to be - we are better with someone else.
Housler looked pretty good at the combine (maybe able to get him for a 4th round pick)

Drew probably told Shockey to announce via twitter facebook that it looks like he is going to sign with panthers
as a last pitch to the dolphins hey if u want this guy make him a good offer heck u offered solia all that money you can offer this big name something better than the minimum u offered b4...

Its a power play move if the dolphins really want him they can still get him though he may be wanting to much you know drew gets more for his guys then they worth..

I disagree. He's been declining. He'll still make some plays, but Miami needs to get someone younger next to Fasano. Someone who can grow into the role behind Fasano yet come in and contribute right away.
 
listen not the biggest of deals but consider this. A week ago he said it would be a dream to play in miami, he went to school in miami, traines in miami, lives in miami but still chose another team. Makes you wonder about our management and the future of the team under this regime

Not really, while I have my own reservations about this regime and their capabilities . . . hearing a guy like Shockey sing "Miami" praises and then watching our regime not be baited into overpaying for a decling loudmouth TE who can't stay on the field is actually pretty comforting.

Now only if they draft one of these athletic guys in the draft to man TE we will be all good.
 
We wont et miller and watch we wont draft one untill the 5th or 6th round .with that said te will still b a big hole again this season
