Ireland has been too hit or miss with his acquisitions and roster moves. He lands some great players like Brent Grimes, Dion Jordan, and Brandon Gibson, which gets many fans excited, but he also has a habit now of failing to address fundamental team needs appropriately. Last year it was the WR corp and CB's. Now this year it's the O-Line which has only just recently began holding it's own 3/4 through the season, on the verge of too little too late in the playoff race. This is not how you maintain a playoff caliber team year by year. Not every unit can be perfect, but you can't afford to leave whole units of your team with ho-hum talent and late-round/FA fliers, especially if they're crucial for the schemes your coaches are implementing.
