Ridiculous, imo, but you are free to -hate- (emphasis because HATE is pretty big) someone for your own issues.

This country practices freedom of religion. Regardless of your personal beliefs on how he conducts himself, or what denomination Tebow belongs to, it is ridiculous to hate someone because of it.

What if you believe that everything he stands for is a lie and damaging to society as a whole. Many people feel that religion, especially Christianity, leads to persecution, wars, instability in the modern world. Look how many denominations we have because Christians can't decide what's actually real.

Many people believe that religions cause more harm than good and are the roots of what is truly evil in this world. You know the arguments, crusades, inquisition, burnings at the stake, etc. . . What if you are one of those people who really believe that ancient religions like Christianity don't fit in the modern world and do more harm than good?

I for one believe that Christianity right now in the states is mostly harmless, but Catholics and Protestants through out the old world would like to have a word with you. The Christian right in this country is borderline dangerous, but so far their zeal turns off so many normal Americans they can never take over like they want. They see Tebow as a way to make inroads with the youth of this country.

Is he trying to act like a good Christian and shove Christianity down your throat when he's running over DB's? lol...I don't understand. Nearly all NFL players point to the sky, cross themselves or kneel during a game at some point.

Wow. Why so passive aggressive? I've really not read anything as ridiculous as this post anywhere on this site before. Granted, I am pretty new.

Lol. Seriously. At least he made his agenda known. Guess we are all screwed since 95% of the people on this planet are religious in one form or another. Lol

In my experience it seems the ones who are always calling others intolerant are usually the more intolerant by far.

Very true! Today you have the "tolerant" telling others that if thye don't believe what they believe then they're "insane", "stupid", or "intolerant". It really makes no sense.

And not just that. They do everything in their power to quell, silence or shut down the voices of those who disagree with them

But I digress. This thread is on the verge of being moved to the political forum and I don't come here for that. Lol. I do enough of that debating in my personal life. Lol
