1.DT Boo Robinson 6'2"325lbs. - This guy may be under the radar, but I suspect after the combine he probably will not.
Strengths
Has very good athleticism for the position, and is one of only a very few DTs who, if he declares, can be drafted as a pure 3-4 NT. Has great size and can still go 20 pounds bigger if you need him at nose, or can be drafted as a 4-3 DT and stay at 300. Agile for such a big man. Caves the pocket. Must be double-teamed. Strong and very, very smart. Can outthink and outmanuever most offensive linemen. Sets them up, and then gets them on a counter move. Getting better and stronger every year. Has loads of upside.
Weaknesses
Has some physical maturing to complete, and can still add some muscle. Has non-football options. Not a vibrant pass rusher at this point in his development. Can still use some leverage and technique work. Not a finisher on the pass rush yet.

2.OLB Brandon Lang 6'3"252lbs.
Stock: Lang along with his teammate Cameron Sheffield, who is lower on this list, form a great pass rushing tandem. Troy has produced some very good NFL talent on the defensive side of the ball in DeMarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys and Osi Umenyiora of the New York Giants. Lang is 6’3, 252 and has a great burst off the line of scrimmage. Last season, he led the team in sacks (10 ½), tackles for loss (17 ½) and quarterback hurries (28), to go along with 69 total tackles.

Projection:
Lang is very versatile and can play standing up or with his hand on the ground- with his size he could fit in a 3-4 defense or a 4-3 defense. You might not hear much about him during the season but when we get closer to the NFL Draft, expect to hear Lang referenced often as someone who could end up being a first round pick.

3. Jermaine Cunningham 6'3"252lbs.-The other DE on UF's DL, projected as a 3-4 OLB. IMO a better all-around player than Dunlap and he can hold-up on the edge.
2010 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Jermaine Cunningham, DE, Florida

Cunningham played sparingly as a freshman in 2006 but really broke out as a sophomore, making the most of 13 starts in 13 games for the Florida Gators. It has been full steam ahead ever since for Cunningham, now a senior. The defensive end recorded 5.5 sacks in 2007, six sacks in 14 games as a junior, and is currently tied for first on the team with seven sacks (despite missing two games) heading into the upcoming Sugar Bowl. Playing opposite highly-touted prospect Carlos Dunlap, Cunningham is leading the Gators--by a wide margin--in both tackles for loss (12) and quarterback hurries (six). He also has two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He was named to the All-SEC Second Team by both the media and the conference's coaches. Cunningham does not take up a lot of space; he is 6'3 and 250 pounds--the build of a prototypical pass-rusher (although he did well to add 15 pounds of bulk in between his junior and senior campaigns). He is quick off the end (he has been clocked as fast as 4.59 in the 40-yard dash while generally running between 4.60 and 4.70) and can mix up offensive linemen by changing direction extremely well. Cunningham has had some minor injury trouble throughout his career and he was also arrested in December of 2007 for misdemeanor battery stemming from a restaurant fracas. Still, those issues seem to be minor--if not things of the past altogether--and should not hurt his draft stock. Cunningham made a wise move returning to school and it should pay off with a second or third round selection in the 2010 NFL Draft.

4.Naaman Roosevelt

Wide Receiver
Senior
Buffalo
6’ 0” 187 lbs.

Strengths: Route Running, Hands, Quickness, Intelligence, Agility, Open Field, Production

Weaknesses: Strength, Frame, Toughness, Durability, Blocking, Level of Competition

Update January 3, 2010- The Bulls were unable to match their offensive production of the 2008 season minus QB Drew Willy, a Colts practice squader, finishing with roughly 500 fewer total yards and a drop of 135 points. Losing senior RB James Starks to injury, costing him the entire 2009 season, hurt badly when coupled with the loss of Willy. As a result, Roosevelt’s production dropped off dramatically. His 70 catches, 954 yards and 9 TD represent a very good year for most receivers but pale in comparison to his 2008 totals of 104 catches, 1,402 yards and 13 TD. His average receiving yards per game dropped from 100.1 to 86.7. His final game as a Buffalo Bull resulted in 8 catches for 135 yards and 3 TD against Ohio.
A knee injury shelved him for Buffalo’s final two games. Despite his slight frame, the knee injury appears routine and he will be healthy in time for the East West Shrine Game, which he has been invited too. Roosevelt finished his college career as the school's all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and all- purpose yardage. Never a candidate for the first round, he needed a repeat of his 2008 season to cement himself as a 2nd round pick and that didn’t happen. He turned in a great season though and will hear his name called as a 3rd rounder. He has the potential to be very good at the next level and projects as a #2 receiver or at minimum a slot receiver with return potential.

5.QB Levi Brown 6'3"220lbs.
Levi Brown (Troy, Sr., QB), has been selected First Team All-Sun Belt Conference for the 2009 college football season as voted on by both the Sun Belt Coaches and Media. Brown’s 2009 season included twice breaking the 41-year-old school record for passing yards in a game. His 477-yard effort against FAU is tied for the ninth best passing game in the country this year. He has, or will, set new school season records for pass completions, passing yards, passing yards per game, total offensive yards and total offense per game. In addition to his school marks, Brown set SBC records for passing yards and total offense in a season and also set a new league mark by being named SBC Offensive Player of the Week six times during the year. His seven career SBC weekly awards is the most by any offensive player in league history. Brown needs just 132 passing yards in the Trojans GMAC Bowl game against Central Michigan to become the 40th player in FBS history, and the first at Troy or in the SBC history, to pass for more than 4,000 yards in a season. He has been invited to play in the Texas vs. USA All-Star Game and is awaiting an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl, which will also be played in Mobile, site of the GMAC Bowl. - Troy football

6.ILB Boris Lee 6'0"245lbs.
Troy has gotten a lot of attention with the success of DeMarcus Ware in the NFL. This year they have two hybrid ends in Cameron Sheffield and Brandon Lang that envoke some Ware discussions, but it’s a true linebacker that leads the defense. Lee plays in the middle of the defense and makes plays all over the field. He is tough and aggressive, willing to come up and sift through the garbage to make a tackle at the line of scrimmage. He is very active and can get to the perimeter to stop the run. What stands out the most is his awareness in coverage. He is a bit short at barely 6' tall, and may not be the most explosive athlete, but he gets good depth in his drops and shows ball skills you do not always find in linebackers. Lee has seven career interceptions coming into his senior season. He is a very solid all around linebacker prospect that could provide depth inside or out, and may surprise some and become a starter one day.

7. S Barry Church 6'2"219lbs.
Church chose Toledo because of the opportunity to play right away. He made the most of that opportunity, earning 1st team all MAC honors as a true freshman. He earned 1st team honors as a sophomore and junior as well, and is now vying to become a four time 1st team All MAC defender. He is well on his way with 65 tackles, 5.5 for loss, 1.5 sacks, a pick, and two blocked kicks through the first seven games of this season. Church is just a natural on the football field. He seems to know where the action is, and gets himself in position to make a play no matter where it is. He is excellent at coming up to the line of scrimmage and supporting the run. He is aggressive and loves to make a hit. Packing almost 220lbs on his 6'2 frame gives him the size to consistently come up and make plays without much worry about the toll it takes on his body. Church also shows tremendous instincts in coverage, as his eight career picks before this season prove. He may not have the best speed and may not be the best athlete, but Church is an excellent football player. He won’t make plays on raw talent alone but he has the instincts to always be near the action. His size, toughness, instincts and solid enough physical tools could give him a long life in the NFL.

8. FS Van Eskridge 6'0"195lbs.
Eskridge, a three-year starter at free safety, was a key member in ECU’s 38-32 win over No. 18 Houston in the Conference USA Championship Game Saturday, Dec. 5 as he picked off a pair of passes, including one in the endzone with 42 seconds remaining. Eskridge earned an ESPN Gameday Final helmet sticker for his play against the Cougars, which also included 10 stops. The Shelby, N.C. native leads the Pirates with six interceptions, which ranks 13th in the NCAA, while ranking second on the squad in tackles (93) and pass breakups (7).

In 2008, Eskridge earned first-team All C-USA honors after starting 13 games and tallying 97 overall stops (third on unit). He was also the team’s co-leader with four interceptions. Eskridge had a pair of fourth quarter interceptions at Tulsa in the C-USA Championship Game, the last with 1:03 remaining to secure the Pirates’ 27-24 triumph.

During his four-year career, the two-time All C-USA performer has collected 354 stops, which ranks ninth all-time in school history, and has recorded 11 interceptions.

9.C John Estes 6'3" 300lbs.
Senior C John Estes. The line might have been miserable last year, but it wasn’t Estes’s fault. The two-time All-WAC star has started every game in his career after starting out at guard. Now he’s among the nation’s most dominant technicians in the middle of the line. While it’s hard to praise a player too much on such a bad line, but he really is that good. He doesn’t make mistakes.

great job putting in the effort to make a quality post! hopefully you keep updating as we move along

10. WR Seyi Ajirotutu 6'3"210lbs.
Tall, strong, athletic WR who led Fresno State in receptions his junior and senior years. 2nd Team All-WAC.
Strengths
Classic height/weight combination and physicality make him a threat to go up and win any contested pass. Uses physical size to dominate downfield as run blocker - made several key "TD blocks" for running backs over the season. Solid route running skills.
Weaknesses
Will occassionally use body to catch and lacks elite speed to be consistent deep threat against NFL caliber DBs.

Skinny: Many times you find a h-back at TE but rarely do you find a potential h-back at wide receiver and that is exactly what Hudgins could be. His size and speed have the makings of a move to h-back simply because he doesn’t have the height of a Brian Finneran type to stay at WR in the NFL. Increasing his speed will be key at Hudgins has ideal hands, route running, and is a big play threat for the Phoenix. The former East Carolina signee out of high school has been very productive but has to work on his release, change of direction, and quickness. Hudgins posted 1,116 yards and 10 touchdowns on 86 catches to earn Walter Camp All-America honors and 1st team All-SoCon plaudits for the third straight season. His senior year will be evaluated closely as his talent is too good to reject, however, like Armanti Edwards, will be a tougher to project at the next level. He is currently a marginal draft pick who is likely a priority free agent entering the season.
