According to KFFL, Scott Fujita of the Chiefs is "on the bubble" to make the roster. Now, if he is cut, I think he is a TERRIFIC option.
Here are the numbers:

He is 6'5, 250, and he has three years experience starting, and yet he is still very young (only 4 years pro). With Seau's uncertainty (injuries/age), he would be a great insurance policy, and he definitely has more of the size Saban likes (unlike Eddie Moore/Derek Pope who, while good players, dont fit the bill). It seems to me that Nick would really rather not have Channing play two positions, and just concentrate on one- the Mike- where he will learn from one of the best in Zach Thomas and eventually replace him. Fujita also clearly has some pass rush ability, 8.5 the last 2 years, so he could be a very interesting option outside in a 3-4. Anyway, I just think that if he is cut, he would be too good to pass up.
Thoughts?
