So Nick Likes Big Linebackers.. Here Ya Go:

Why is it that I don't see a MONSTER LB when I look at those stats?

I'm talking about size............I'm not talking about a starter, jeez. I realize that people immediately think others are talking about a starter when a name is mentioned, but its not the case at all.

How in the world is Fujita on the bubble?

A year ago he was on the verge of the Pro bowl.
He disappointed last year.

It is definitely going to be interesting between now and the final cutdown of team rosters. I really wonder how may surprizing names will be on those lists? :hmmm:

90 total tackles and 4.5 sacks is diasppointing?
Considering his tackle total dropped 21 tackles, while his solo tackles dropped 30, I think he disappointed them. He did not take the next step up.

Still do not see them cutting him, unless he is just not playing well this year.

Fujita had a knee injury problem that continues to crop up correct? I live near KC and all we get is the Chiefs this and that.

I know they love what Mitchell has been doing at MLB so far and they are really pleased with Derrick Johnson, (who has looked amazing in camp and preseason whew!) Bell hasn't played yet in a game though and the rest of that depth looks shaky. I'd be surprised to see him go.

Our boys Knight and Surtain have been playing extremely well for the Chiefs also. Knight has become a leader on that team and has made a few plays as well already.

I can just about bet that about 8 players will be changing around on the team after cuts etc this year.

We had 5 or so turnover last year and Saban is still trying to get his guys in here and Mueller is renowned for his waiver wire work on pickups etc. He's supposed to be one of the best at identifying who is going to be cut and who would help the team out of those players.

I bet what has happened is that Mueller has prepared a list for Nick of potential cuts, and asked him to just select the ones that he wants to put in claims for.

This time of year was always Randy's forte. Hawks fans knew it, as did the Baghead fans.

I agree that we will see quite a bit of movement on our roster between now and Sept. 6th, the day our 53 man roster and PS is finally set

ankle surgery after the season, didn't get going till after TC started. If the Chiefs keep Fujita they are afraid that they will have a young player snatched off the practice squad. He will be gone after this season anyway. They may keep him until Shawn Barber comes off PUP.

Fooj wants to start & is behind Derrick Johnson on the depth chart. I think they want some trade offers. He should come very cheap

Very happy with Surtain & Knight:D

here's gretz' take. near the bottom. watched the game for a bit tonight trying to see if he played or even dressed. i didn't see him and stats for the D are not available yet. cunningham is trying to build his own D and i don't think fujita is is his man. there D played much better but they still have trouble oposite PS and SK.

I say We give them a 5th and if they deny it then wait for him to be cut if they don't cut him well at least that will show Fujita that were interested when he becomes a free agent next year.
Miami does not have a 5th & they don't really need him anyway.

I doubt Fujita goes given their lack of depth on the D side of the ball.

Another possibilty is Greg Favors who was cut from Jax yesterday. Had 5 sacks last year and pretty big.
