So Nick Likes Big Linebackers.. Here Ya Go:

I thought we had a chance to sign him way earlier this off season and passed??? I know nothing about him to be honest. I remember us having interest in him and loved his size, then we signed Spragan.

That doesn't make any sense. I would love to have Fujita. Why on earth would they cut the guy?

We're getting crowded in the linebacker dept, well, if we sign him.

We were looking at Matt Stewart, then of the Falcons now of the Browns, when we signed Donnie Spragan- not Fujita.

Fujita was a RFA & signed a 1 year deal. He wants to start & the Chiefs don't want to lose another player by keeping him for 1 season. Gretz is a mouthpiece for the Chiefs, his articles are found on their website. Hate to see him go, the dude is wicked smart. Someone really should trade for him before he is cut

Wow!

This will be a suprising move if they do release him. He would add alot of key depth for us if we sign him. He would be a great 3-4 LB for us.

Do i win the award for finally starting a "We should sign ____ (enter another team's cut player) Thread" that people ACTUALLY agree with!?

I feel so honored.

Easy tiger, he hasn't been released just yet. If he is released though, you would be the winner.:D

I would think Saban has his eyes on CB and Centers.

A corner you say? Well Lance Frazier was released from the Cowboys yesterday.

Very young- only 2 years experience. Last year, played 12 games and had 40 tackles, 2 INTs, and 6 Passes defended. He isnt big at 5'10 190, but he has some potential. Oh, and Kendal Newson our backup punt returner got injured you say? Well, this guy will help in that regard as well... something Nick has actually come out and said he would like to solve. 24 Punts returns for 229 yards- an average of 9.5 yards per return. This was fifth in the NFC and tops among rookies. Looks like a good fit.

Alexander is rumored to be cut from the Pats because of the numbers game. He's basically the same size as Channing, and played for Saban. He most likely would not have a tough time picking up the D coming from NE, so maybe we'd be thinking of him as well

he's played both safety and OLB in college, and he lettered in track, so he'd probably have some good speed

Fujita will cost somebody a draft pick or player to get. He's to good to flat out release.

I say We give them a 5th and if they deny it then wait for him to be cut if they don't cut him well at least that will show Fujita that were interested when he becomes a free agent next year.

6'5 250 is mammoth.

And just because the KC defense as a whole was so terrible, doesnt mean he as an individual is not a good player. He would definitely be an upgrade over Moore/Pope.

Not if Moore is healthy.
