Some coaches aren't happy with Mike Wallace

If Wallace doesn;t have 1200 yards and 12 TD's next year it may be time to move on at 2 positions if you catch my drift. That's about what Wallace is being paid to do but as we all know he needs a catchable deep ball to do it. Actually it seems like he needs a perfect dep ball which is no good anyway.

That would be Career Highs for him....he already set a Career high in receptions last year

unless you are gonna replace the speed element wallace brings to the table in mike shermans offense at least you need mike wallace...he's really the only speed we have in the wr or tight end core...i would seriously doubt it if he is not here at least the next 2 years though either way...unless he was traded and i see that likelihood as being extremely low...not this season at least

you guys are the ones being naïve here, he's not making something up on his own.

A guy who is wrong about 80% of the time....never makes things up? Even if he's not making things up, he's being fed bad info time and time again and publishing that bad info without validating it, which is naive on his part.

sometimes it's as simple as a team using the media to get a message out, regardless of whether he is wrong 80% of the time(I find that hard to believe though) he is being fed info. he may be more easily manipulated than other writers but he's not making the stuff up w/o any input.

You find everything hard to believe. I'm pretty sure that goes all the way back to preschool.

I judge a man on his OWN merits. Wallace was NEVER a do it all type receiver, he was great at what he did while in Pittsburgh, which was run past people and catch deep passes and catch slant routes and take them the distance, at the time we signed him we had NO SPEED at the receiver position therefore we needed a player with his skillset. Is he worth 10 mil a year? I'd say Yes if we were able to connect half the times he was able to get behind the defense but for various reasons, we weren't able to connect on most of those pass plays... I won't blame a player for the actions of others. I was actually upset that we got rid of Ted Ginn!!! yep I said it. Why? Because he had a very specific skillset and paired with Brandon Marshall he could have been very productive similar to how he was in Carolina and they don't have a Brandon Marshall type player. I think we should draft a big bodied do it all type WR and pair him with Wallace. Hopefully that WR can produce early.... otherwise everyone may be gone.

I think Philbin wanted Wallace and Ireland got him by over paying him.....Wallace is the same guy he was in Pitt except he is not used properly here, he is not a #1 stud WR no matter how much you pay him and never was, now I think Philbin is upset he isn't doing the voluntary stuff so he throwing this out there....Wallace knows he is getting a ton of money no matter where he plays over the next couple of yrs and probably doesn't care what Philbin thinks.....You can't cut him and no one is going to take on that crazy contract so we are stuck with him IMO....hopefully he and RT can get on the same page and get some return on that investment......besides that he is untouchable so lets worry about fixing the LB, secondary, OL and bring in some real competition for QB

you are right why talking about Wallace the man get double every play and still is wide open high school qb can hit that. if that case tannerhill should be replace or bring in another qb or give mat moore fair chance...yes we give up lot of sack but our whole offensive could not block te, rb ol, and tannerhills don't know when run out pocket. play calling suck. we should be thinking about replacing coach to that half problems,,,,

The only receiver Tannehill had problems connecting on deep balls with was Wallace. No issues connecting with Hartline, Gibson, Matthews, etc. Why would Tannehill be the problem?
tannehills cant throw deep ball that his problems last 2 yrs,

Wallace was fair last year but, hardly worth the money. However, I give it this year to judge. HOF WR's like Carter and Rice have said it takes a year to get timing down, especially with a speed guy. Pollian said he was misused, and that Lazor will fix this. We shall see.
first of all rice play w to outstanding qb so did carter later on in his careers
