Some of you haven't realized......

Well to be fair some people thought Edwards would be the pick.
true, true...

those are probably the same people that thought we were honestly going to draft McPherson... :D

Did either of you happen to read post #7 in this thread, that has KB21 saying what is quoted below?
my post was pointed at someone else. i thought byroan's quote was funny, but was obviously superceded by Keith's comments earlier then.

my post still stands though... some people just act like they know...

i don't normally gloat, but after i just asked everyone why we weren't drafting OL, and i was basically jumped on by the people that think they are "wise" on here, i just had to smile when i heard our 5th round selection.

I don't know the guy, and not saying he is the answer to our prayers, but i sure would like to think that our o-line could improve with depth and a bunch more guys. :)

Yea. There has been a great deal of arrogance on the board today. I've been shaking my head at other people huffing their e-ego, and honestly that o-line pick made my day.

How can that be ownage when they didn't take Wilkerson or Buckles (the 2 guys he mentioned)?

Easy.

He took back the statement that:
"Miami will not draft an o-line player in this draft" Regardless that the players mentioned didn't get picked, he still took back the statement. It's common sense really.

Don't backtrack too fast now. You might fall and hurt your head. :)

ok, RI, level with me on this....

can you NOT agree that Boomer or KB say something, then at least 50 people jump on what they say as if its fact? these people don't formulate their own opinions or watch or know any of these players.... they just take something that Boomer or KB say and its gold.

Nothing against boomer or KB, as they do their homework. I respect their opinions. I have problems with the "other" guy who sees what they post in another thread, then posts it here as if its gospel or their own. Then criticize me because my question didn't align with Boomer or KB's post. Yet they criticize me without giving reasons why not to do something.

THAT is my beef, and i think RI, you can see that.

.....that Nick Saban is not drafting based on need. He's not going to pass over a potentially very good player to take a player that plays a perceived need position that probably won't make the team.

His draft has been about value. With his four picks, he has taken three players that had first round grades and another that was graded as a late 2nd to early 3rd round guy.

I got news for you. Nick isn't taking any offensive linemen. You might as well just suck it up, because he doesn't see value in these linemen.

well he took a OT

I took it that your beef WAS with KB and/or Boomer by your posts in this thread (kind of vague).. My mistake :)

Twat fans? I stand corrected. Seth McKinney undoubtedly is the most sought after C prospect available to us. Our O line play last year was not nearly as bad as it appeared, I must have been watching some other team when the Bengals (the Bengals?) looked like the greatest defense in the NFL that Sunday night. Also, I look forward to being 16-0 next year, what with the perfect coaching staff that we have now, one that never makes errors, one that will take for the most part the same line we had last year and make them into monsters..... again, no one saying Saban is a disaster - just suggesting that in the 4th round, he whiffed. It happens. OF COURSE, time will tell. Would it be better for you if all the 'twat fans' were blindly loyal, swooning over everything Saban does? I'm happy as he** that we have the coaching staff we have, but they're not perfect.

That chapter is closed..you are going back to the second week of the season, when the only returning starters on the O were MMike and Chambers..You are Crazy. The o-line show alot of improvements later in the year..And yes with the addittion of Houck, our O-line is going to be good and have depth..Thank you Nick..

I think when you make a big bold statement like that, then retract it, you are in no position to be owning anyone. JMO.

No, he was saying we might draft those two players. That's common sense.

My opinion as well.

He retracted what he said.. End of story.

You don't quote someone like that when 2 posts down he took it back.. it's CHEAP. ;)
