Some teams would kill to be 3-4 right now. Stay positive and shoot for the wildcard.

Can't stay positive. We are on a 4 game losing streak. None of our problems are fixed and the refs tend to not favor us. Our oline stinks and our qb is avg. our coaching sucks. Lost Gibson for the season. Please tell me what to b positive about.

A sold out house would be great but please tell me what the team has done lately to deserve such support ?

I think it's great you're going to the games BCS and all but blaming the Miami fans is getting old.

Please note some of the strongest posters on here live in NY and NJ. Gonzo is certainly one of them.

Maybe be positive that we're not 2-5, 1-6, or 0-7? Again, as I posted earlier we have LOTS to figure out and everyone is entitled to be frustrated, ESPECIALLY with the officiating, bad play calling (2nd half trend now) etc but its not reason to abandon hope on a team thats just ONE game under .500 with 4 division games to go, and what seems to be a softer schedule coming up.

That's all I'm getting at. I know right now everyone is upset and tired of it all, but just look at the glass with a few drops in it as opposed to completely empty.

I love these. The optimistic "Let's Rally!" threads that people think will change anything that's been going on.

The optimism is commendable admidst this pathetic 4 game losing streak ..... but it's not going to change the product out there on the field right now. A bad O-line, stubborn coaching staff, inconsistent QB play, a non-contributing draft class, and two of our offensive FA signings out for the year.

Ya, let's talk about playoffs! It would be embarrassing to see this squad in the playoffs when the game's intensity and preparation get taken up a notch. I cringe at the thought of the potential embarrassment.

We could beat the 6-2 Bengals on Thursday and lose to the 0-7 Bucs on MNF. That's the problem with this team. We are way too inconsistent.

I'm discouraged too, but there's really nothing else that can be done but to continue to hope. One game at a time. We win Thursday, we're back at .500 and have some momentum behind us. Bengals are an extremely beatable team. If we can beat the Colts away, then we can beat the Bengals at home.

We usually crush it in the second half and have awful first halves. Yesterday was the opposite. It's all about putting 4 quarters together.

I honestly predict a win on Thursday. Then let's see where this board is at in terms of hope.

SO let me get this straight....you'd be embarrassed for the team MAKING the postseason for the first time in what seems to be century and potentially losing than NOT making it and still being embarrassed?

Thank you. You win, you're back in the hunt. Simple enough for a tough feat to accomplish but what else can you do but hope for the best at this point

No, I'd be embarrassed by the likely result.

Hope is an emotion when you're desperate. I don't subscribe to watching football like that anymore.

Predicting a win on Thursday vs. the Bengals is not even logical at this point.

I agree, i havent given up. But tbh, there're a few issues that im concerned with that has nothing to do with x's and o's.

This team shows no fight through adversary. They just take the punishment and move on. The minute something bad happens, you can pretty much call it a game.. we went 3 and out on the first drive of the game and I knew the game was over. matter a fact i knew the game was over when thigpen couldnt get it past the ten yard line on the opening kick off. The coach(s) say nothing. They play it safe. They stand on the sideline (philbin), let refs throw dumb flags, and just take it with no emotion. hes like cam cameron 2.0. Id respect philbin if he came out and took a fine and just go off on the refs or just address some of the other issues in that game. You let the media focus solely on the patriots on bradys hand and everything patriots related and let the fins look like just a team thats happy to be on tv. perception is the fans seem to want the team to win more than the team itself. It starts from coaching tbh..I dunno if philbin has it, and I dunno if tannehill has it. to be positive id have to have something to hope for, and I don't. at this point the fins have to show the fans they are good enuff to b cheered for. ill stand pat but these loses really ruin your week. at some point as a man you have to face reality and eventually say this team isnt going to ruin your day or ur week or your LIFE! anymore lol.

The issues you mention are legit problems. After it's all said and done, refs, players, fumbles, bad blocking etc, it falls back onto the coaching more than anything. I'd also like to see more fire from Philbin or at least more aggressiveness. He doesn't seem to have that fire, but we all knew that when he signed. Did anyone catch his press conference after the game? Were the refs brought up during the interview?

Anybody who spend more time whining about fans than being frustrated by the product on the field is a "blame the fans" guy.

Anyone who tracks how much time another poster spends venting about fans vs venting about the team should stop posting.

But keep on fighting the good fight, tell those fans who remain optimistic how stupid they are :rolleyes2:

You guys are just setting yourselves up for a big disappointment. Dont forget who you are dealing with here. This is the Miami Dolphins. A consistently bad team that plays its fanbase like a banjo every year. I said last week we didnt have a chance in hell of winning against NE and Im going to say it again thise week. The Dolphins are a mentally weak team. Playing a good and explosive Cincy offense IN Miami ON a natioanlly televised prime time game. This is a recipe for disaster.
Absolutely. Remain positive guys. I'm passed this loss already and just like the OP, have changed my mentality. We can still make the playoffs.

It starts now!

Interested in going to a Fins game this season and making me one?

Oh wait, are you an undercover Jets or Giants fan as your location Brooklyn suggests?

I was at the jills game. I could have made you a burger that matched the play on the field. I'd throw in some mustard, though I'm not sure it would cover up the **** taste. I ate some Nicaraguan food the day before, so it may have been a bit on the rare side with a little kick to it.

I am glad to see you know your geography though.

SO spending time whining about a loss instead of looking up and seeing (hoping) for better makes sense right? It makes sense to just give up right? Don't show up to games and support the team right?

Your posts alone prove your fair weather-ness.

A team that has been this crappy for this long doesn't have "fair-weather" fans. You see, the name itself indicates occasional "fair weather" in which they might come out. It's not "mediocre-weather" fans.

Y would you want to go into the playoff if your team can't beat any good teams that are in its division. If we go will most likely play against the Ravens or some other team that will kick our ass. This team needs to regroup and find some mental toughness or every single game we play will end up like N.E. and N.O. game.

because thats what you play for... then, once you make the playoffs, you play for the championship. That's how most sports work.

also, you want your -potential- QB of the future to get playoff experience as early in his career as possible.
