I get that a majority here would like us to finish with the worst record to get the first pick.
I also get that this team needs new coaching and management.
But someone please explain to me how "Suck for Luck" works.
Is it an every play thing or does it only go in effect at the end of the game ?
Should we cheer fumbles and boo TD passes from Miami ?
Will our favorite players be the ones who screw up the most ?
No more complaning about fans not showing up for home games. Who cares ?
No more "get every good player released " post. Good players could mess up the plan.
After the game will we applaud the good performances? Or want those guys traded.
Setting at a sports bar with my Fins jersey on I'm supposed to stand up and cheer when Sanchez throws a TD pass ? Then boo a Dolphins int ?
Someone please explain the guide lines for Suck for Luck.
Then go on the Jets site and explain it to them. They should really like that one.
NYJunc will have a field day.
 
everyone plays awesome and yet you somehow manage to lose in the 4th quarter. except to the jets. you beat the jets twice with like a 60 point combined margin of victory, and the 2-14 record gets you the number one overall pick and the jets miss the playoffs directly because of us (or go 6-10 or something, which is probably where they are headed anyway).

That would be suck for Luck lite.
And okay by me. I just can not root against our team but if your senero plays out that's fine.
 
Sorry I want Luck more than I hate the Jets. A potential hall of fame player like Elway or Manning versus some meaningless game everyone will forget about in a few weeks. hmm
 
its not about rooting vs the phins its about taking the looses more lightly because we know that in the end we will be the real winners thats all! We do not need to root vs our team, we cant win reguardless and specially now without Henne!
 
my question for you is why do u want to win? do you actually expect us to make it somewhere? Every win we get will be worthless, might as well lose em all to get the best player in a long time
 
Am I rooting for us to win every week? Of course I am. I doubt there are very few people not rooting for us to win, but if we lose so be it. Just one step closer to Luck. At least that's how I look at it.
 
This is exactly what i'm doing. I can not root against these guys.
Even if it's the smart thing to do.
And screw the Jets. Give me 2 wins over them and I can live with the rest.
 
What I don't get is that while I would love to get Luck. He doesn't play defense or block on the OL. As gvood as Marino was , he couldn't make up for a poor defense many of the years he was here.

your right, we might not win the super bowl in year 1 lmao

but getting a QB like this is the best thing we can do on the way there

GUYS WE HAVE TO LOSE TO GET LUCK...ZERO WINS THIS SEASON....LETS NOT GAMBLE WITH THIS...ANDREW LUCK WILL BE THE FACE OF OUR FRANCHISE FOR THE NEXT 15 YEARS...there will be short term pain...but the long term makes sense....0-16!!!!
 
and we def wont win superbowl in 1 yr...but we will get there eventually with a franchise QB and a team properly built around him

We have little or nothing to do with the out come. What will be will be.
Are you even going to watch the games ? Why ?
