Its more about the organization as a whole and what a bafoon Ross is. I am sick and tired of this team making stupid decisions. Its been going on now for way too long.
 
I'd like McCoy more if he didnt wear that stupid tennis visor on the sidelines. I honestly dont know much about him other than what he did with Tebow this year.

That had to do more with the breakdown in the secondary for the Steelers. How did he do against the Chiefs at home the last week of the season? Oh thats right, 3 points.
 
6-10 here we come again...not bad enough to get up there for a real qb not good enough to be competitive into december...par for the course
 
I'll say this for McCoy, I watched about ten Denver games this season start to finish and the guy knows how to use the running game and make adjustments during the game. Tebow is bad, real bad at throwing the ball and that Denver defense is not as good as some people think.

I think Mike McCoy actually deserves a lot of credit for helping turn that team around. They were flat out gashing people in the running game with absolutely no threat of the pass. I realize he didn't do a lot with Kyle Orton, but I think Orton is a very pedestrian QB on a good day.

I wouldn't be immediately put off by this hire.
 
Looks like you guys got your coach and QB, McCoy and Matt Moore. Moore impressed me. Moore and McCoy came up in Carolina right?

well he had 2 years as OC under Josh McDaniels and the offense was decent. You had a complete change in philosophies in coaches. You had McDaniels who was all about attacking, while Fox is about playing it safe.

As I've been saying, McCoy has been an understudy to both Jeff Davidson and Josh McDaniels as well as Dan Henning before he went senile. So does he share any of their philosophies? You also have to take into account he was a QB in college and in the CFL.

Hell look at the Patriot OCs, Charlie Weis had a different offense from Josh McDaniels who has a different offence from Bill O'Brien
 
I just love this board....everyone was talking about how we need and offence guy in there......now they want Zimmer who's a defence guy....for the record, I'd be fine with Zimmer too......we don't know all the details on why they might hire this guy or that guy.....we can't do anything about it so no reason to go crazy over it.

If McCoy and Nolan were together in Denver and Nolan suddenly leaves I do not look at that as a great sign!
 
Interesting, but once again, I don't trust any rumors out there. Especially when you have threads posted right next to this saying Zimmer is the front runner. I'm sick of all this guessing. while I hope they pick the right person, why am I getting that feeling that this is going to get screwed up like everything else the past 10-20 years.
