I actually agree with Ireland. If someone is "bullying" you....be a man and stand up for yourself! This is FOOTBALL people, smh. THIS isn't an office job.
So you agree with the General Manager of an NFL team to tell one player to "punch" another player? If, and I stress if, this story is true what it means is Jeff Ireland could have prevented all of this. He pretty much showed that he didn't care about a player who was being genuine about the way he was feeling, a player who came to him when maybe he didn't feel comfortable going to coaches (for whatever reason). So what if the overall consensus is "Martin's soft", he had a DUTY to get off of his ass and ensure this situation would not get blown out of proportion and bring the gentleman together and get this resolved in house. His lack of action, if this matter holds true, is borderline criminal if you ask me . . . from his lack of action to him condoning violence in the work place.
