Sports Buzz- Pats asked Thigpen for hand signals/ More Harbaugh talk

No **** the Patriots try to gain intel by signing former Dolphins players right before the teams play. Call it smart, call it tactful. It's hysterical NE got their asses kicked anyway.

No surprises here.

If we are to part with Philbin, this guy.

Apparently there is a lot you don't know about Quinn's background. Can't find everything in a JLC article.

Sorry, I am not a Dan Quinn expert like yourself. I think that Pete Carroll is responsible most for the defense in the upper NW. Plus, Miami needs a coach that has actually been a HC at a major level at some point. No more neophytes in charge.

Totally Agree.
No more on the job training. Get some one on the upswing with an actual track record as a HC.

Honestly after watching the Lions and Bears the last couple of weeks I'm not as worried about their QB's. Cutler and Stafford each have about 3 or 4 WTF throws each game. As a defense the Fins just need to capitalize on them.

What does worry me is the WR's they are throwing to going against our smaller DB's. Our CB's could have a tough time matching up with those physical specimens.

It all starts with the defensive horses up front. 6 sacks from BUF yesterday, along with Megatron unable to make any impact. Cutler will be Cutler, forcing chit he has no business attempting.

A guy who has actually been to the playoff and won would be my preference if they replace Joe.
A SB winning coach would be icing on the cake.

Now, if you've watched these Dolphins games long enough you already know the story. One, if not both of those teams statistically will have their most productive output of the season against us...

That's just what it means to be a Dolphins fan. The Bills win yesterday was hard to stomach..really hard.

Lions have been playing without CJ and the Bears' receivers match up very well against our smurfs. Gonna be very tough games. I think that Lions game, if CJ is healthy, is going to actually be the toughest of the bunch.

How improper would it be to have Tannenbaum within the org pushing his own clients? Seriously?

If Joe fails, Marino and Garfinkel need to take control of the hiring process.

Mike Tannenbaum being part of the selection process makes me like Joe more.

Tannenbaum was hired as a temporary consultant in setting up a metrics and analytics system for players. I think you are grossly overestimating his involvement in anything.
