Hell..I thought the jugs machine was the tittie fairy...LOL
I hope so too. But sliding often comes from instinct and awareness and taking a second to think it over usually ends badly.i hope tannehill is just saving the sliding for when the red shirt comes off
I think we will see teams looking at QB's are more expendable than in the past. Not that anyone wants to expose their QB, but in the past, they have been handled with kid gloves because they are a huge investment. The new rookie pay scale won't cripple a team's cap if a QB is a bust, but that also means teams don't have to be so worried about QB's getting busted. The value of wins today may for the first time in many decades mean more than your QB's health. The 49ers for example may very well know that Kaepernick may make it through 9 or 10 years as opposed to 15, but if he wasn't running, would anybody want him for 15? A lot of teams would probably take the shorter career at a higher level of play.I'm not a fan of the read option. It unnecessarily exposes toe QB to big hits both legal ones and illegal ones. Wilson does a great job at it, but most running QB'S are burning their future for a little better performance today.
I don't want to waste the best Tannehill years (when he is a veteran) just for a few plays early 8n his career.
