Swing and a miss! Ross tried to hire Jason Licht and was turned down

Some of the media coverage might be or end up erroneous, but some posters here will state any report that is a knock on the Dolphins management or staff is simply work of a mistaken reporter.

True. Same goes for the doomsdayers as well, though- every report the knocks the Dolphins is scripture.

Look, we were a stolen game, a field goal miss, a defensive stand or a handful of overthrown big plays removed from the playoffs. One wouldve sufficed. How much malfunction could there possibly be? Come on.

IMO, this was a tropical storm the media turned into a hurricane and who in their right minds heads towards a hurricane?

But you are right. The biggest supporter, koolaid drinker, rosy-colored glasses wearing fan cannot deny the fact that there was/is a tropical storm. And Ill add that this organization is to blame for allowing the tropical storm, giving the media such an opportunity.

well considering how easy it is to write "sources tell me" and make **** up on the internet its hard to believe it. in my opinion Jeff Darlington is one of the most credible but still...look its this easy...

My sources tell me xanders is leading candidate for dolphins gm job

so just cuz its rappaport who tweeted it you believe it? u don't think he could easily do what I just did? these guys just wanna be the first to break a story it doesn't have to be right. this is why I don't get too bent out of shape over tweets from any of these guys, it changes day to day and tons of speculation.

I wonder what the league office thinks about what is happening in Miami? Does Goodell have the power to revoke ownership of a team from an individual? If he does, you have to think he is considering taking it away after this latest development regarding Ross. Not only a black eye for the Dolphins but a black eye for the NFL.

Really its not even that, its a couple of tweets.

He approved the sale of the Browns to a guy about to get rung on a Federal Endict, net you really think he cares about our big eared rodeo clown?

I hope we land a good one. But Gaine wouldn't hurt my feelings at this point, because if it all falls apart again next year, the clean sweep will be complete.

I would ask why we have never had a back like that, but we did have Ricky. Ricky was explosive in his own way and very exciting to watch :):)

run ricky run! :):)

Exactly.. a couple of stupid tweets based on heresay.

Inflamed by a few here who have some serious perception disorders.

This. I call B.S. on this story. Since we're all speculating, maybe the Dolphins contacted Licht to inform him he was a finalist and to request another interview. Since he had already been offered the job in Tampa already he declines, like he should. Would this mean he spurned Ross and the sky is falling? Perspective please...nobody knows how this went down.

Gentlemen, there is a common theme within the Dolphins organization: and that is quality personnel turning their cheek when offered a position by the Fins. NFL coaches and players choosing another team, and having success with the other team.

I'll tell you one thing, NFL personnel aren't turning down Fins jobs offers because of the sunny year-around weather and no state taxes.

Players and coaches would be flocking to Miami if we had sound owner/front office/ and coaching staff. We currently are a STRIKE OUT in ALL CATEGORIES.

It BAFFLEs me as a life long fan!

Whom are we referring to?

Harbaugh? Our talent stood half a chance against SF?

Manning? He was going to come to a team with one playoff appearance in 12 years to finish his career?

The GMs refusing to speak to Miami? Playing for the greatest title in the world? One in his hometown? Another bread in house for the future?

11 years of loss. 3 years of negative, major national headlines; Ricky, Nicky, Camy whamy. An HBO special that showcased a prick GM and a loud WR that as Dolphin luck would have it had never been in trouble with the law until Miami going on to commit that which is only second to murder, beating a woman.

But its the current situation thats ruining our reputation?

Ill continue to regurgitate that we made a playoff push with the worst Oline in our history and an OC so bad, so, so very, very bad, he would not design plays for 60 million dollars.

My mother could be a GM for this team for one year. Oline free agents. Oline draft. Oline, oline, oline.
