Fine with me. We will hopefully learn our lesson and go the unconventional way of spending big money on guard next free agency. Cornerback is also a possibility if Tankersley isn't ready, as Maxwell is certainly a goner next year. And a starting CB on the open market is huge money. Same with DE with Wake and Hayes 36 and 33 years old next season.

Can't forget about Landry. New big deal or tag.

I like McDonald. Adds a toughness to the back end. Not a star but he's solid. Keep in mind the extension doesn't get completed without the coaching staff being on board.
