Redskins: Good job, definate increase in talent on both sides especially defence. It was a nice cut down on price through the trade and bringing in more talent through FA. You should definatley improve on Washington's top ranked D from last year. Offensively you brought in a Vet QB and a rookie to learn which is perfect. While a WR was drafted I would have liked to see a better #1 then Coles or at least a #2 that could have taken pressure off of Coles. The rest of what I say is all my personal opinions and should not be taken into account if you do not agree and should not be read if you have not voted yet. Portis will continue to struggle and I think he is totally overrated, I think you could have used him, much like I used Vick to get more then what he was worth. The O-line I think had to improve if you want a running game with Portis. I loved Ramsey even at his price I would have not let him go but I think 90% of people here would disagree with me. Finally I would have gone more offensive in FA and draft, Redskins had a great year on D last year and it is important to keep you d strong but I would have preferred a Jonas Jennings, or big receiver over Bell or other pick-ups *My opinion top 3 pick
Raiders:Starting with trades, Liked the Sapp trade he is a waste on a large amount of coin IMO and its good you could get what you can, Wong I think was going to be released if you did not trade for him and I thought he should have been released and signed for half what he is making, not near enough for Curry or Gallery in both situations you are given young players who are far more proven and skillled then the picks you are going to get. Derrick Johnson same I know you got a crap load of pick but not enough for him, none of the picks you got will be near as good. Fa you did fine, I see you went complete opposite way of the real team as you gained a strong O-line and a good back and decided to grind out wins instead of taking it to the air. With you team your defence improved with Lucas signing but the most obvious struggles will be at WR and QB, I expect bottom of the league in passing. Defence will do much better then the real team but offence it will be hard to get for ya. On the other hand you had massive draft and picked up some players that will help you for years but you sort of messed that up when you got rid of your best young talent to get so many picks. Overall not terrible but not great.
Me the Atlanta Falcons- My feelings of my team, I did some things with my team I never saw by any other GM. First was release and re-sign. Many of my higher priced players I never wanted to get rid of but they were to pricey for me so I released them and then re-signed them for cheaper. Won or broke-even on every single trade. Great FA pick-ups that fixed my holes. Re-united Moulds and Price I thought was huge, I also believe I improved or stayed the same at every position. Finally I improved while getting younger, few teams had more picks then I did and I put them in positions where they could learn from top notch starters. I have only one rookie starting and thats Thomas Davis who I think everyone knows is capeable of starting but I also added Boulwear next to him and got a vet as back up to help. Same at guard were I picked up the top ranked in the draft but have a vet behind just in case. The lone problem at my team is D-line despite improving it hugely, I would have preferred a high DT draft pick behind my stars but I couldn't get one. But my starting D-line is as good as any in the league. If anyone can find a fault in my GMing I would like to critiqued because I spent alot of time finding the perfect players for my team and doing whatever I could to get them. Every position has a suitable back-up and where I had veteran talent I brought in rookies (Safety,Linebacker,DE,O-line) and where I had young talent I brought in seasoned vets (RB, TE, CB and sort of LB again). Thanks for reading
