Tannehill: 10-13, 114 yards, 1 TD

Coaching building up RT's confidence nicely with him having first unit around him and facing second unit D.

Next week in the preseason he'll probably be with second team O against 2/3 defense..... i think i like the plan

Pretty sure Devlin and Tannehill were working with the 2nd team defense... Still good... But 2nd team

Don't dismiss playing against the second team so easily. The speed and scheme is the same. Their biggest hurdle is adjusting to the speed which they are showing they are. This is very good news.

Don't dismiss it when the 2's have been described in tweets as "swiss cheese"???

Any good news coming from our qb's, is great news even if it is a scrimage, cant wait for hard knocks # dieharddolphinsfan!!!

Let's stop acting like Tannehill and Devlin were equally impressive. Devlin scored while the team was working on red zone offense. Tannehill worked the ball down field with ease in what i believe was a 77 yard drive capped off with a Fasano TD.

Tannehill ****s out better QBs than Devlin.

I monitor the practice tweets daily and never seen swiss cheese in anyone tweets once.

Nope he's right. The second team defense was described by one reporter as "Swiss cheese"

So one opinion of a South Florida beat writer holds weight? :bobdole:

Does anyone know who that reporter was?

I get those who want to temper expectations because he was mainly going against 2nd team D....but at the same time you have to be encouraged and give the kid his props. He is earning his right to get reps with the 1s....and if he would have went 3-13 with an INT then the same people would be calling him a bust....you can't have it both ways

Ok must not follow that guy, who is it.

Its not Volin, Salguera or Jesse I just rummaged through their timelines and did not see it.

Im not certain who it was but I was on twitter throughout the entire scrimmage and I remember reading the same tweet that referred to the second team defense as "Swiss cheese".

Regardless, we should all be extremely ****ing happy with how well Tannehill played. He's going to make this a real competition.

Doesn't hold **** with me. I was merely saying the defense was called "Swiss cheese".

The good news is obviously that Tannehill played well. Pretty hard to gloss over the fact that Moore and Garrard were awful though.

17 passes for 57 yards and 20 for 60. Good Lord :bobdole:. If thats not an aberration, Tannehill might be playing sooner than we think.
