Tannehill and Sanchez, too little experience?

In 6 playoff games Sanchez has 9 TDs and 3 INTs, he led a GW drive on the road at Indy, he outdueled Tom Brady by throwing 3 TDs in the div rd, he was near flawless at Cincy.

So tell me again how Mike Sherman deserves credit for Brett favre's success?

Sherman & Carroll: 12 seasons as HCs, 4-7 playoff record- all 4 wins were WC rd wins
Rex in 3 seasons: 4-2 playoff record, 2 title game apps[/QUOTE]

And, yet, still no Championship. And he'll never see one. The Jets are on the verge of implosion. They are old. They have an, at best, very inconsistent QB. Their draft is "iffyish." And, aside from all of that, Miami owns Rex and Sanchez and that will continue in a BIG way this coming season.

I would be willing to bet money that Tebow is named the starter after the bye, maybe much sooner than that.

But, it's not a good comparison. Sanchez accomplished much more than Tannehil did in college. It's a horrible comparison. Sanchez looked much more NFL ready than Tannehil. Too many cool aid drinkers around here. Also, meatball is going to make the jests better, that should be obvious to anyone who knows anything about football. They will run the ball more and take a LOT of pressure of sanchize. Less throws mean sanchise will play better.

It is going to be a tough year for us. The Bills are MUCH better. Wannsteadt is a good DC despite all his other shortcomings. WE swept them last year so maybe we continue to match up well against them.

Man, I hate the Jets and Sanchez as much as the next Dolphin fan, but I don't see that happening. Granted there was a reason, outside of gimmick plays, that he was signed by the Jets. But Tebow isn't going to unseat Sanchez so easily and quickly. Tebow is a horrible passer. Slow release, no zip, can't dissect a defense, etc. He was brought there because of his leadership and unwavering confidence. He can grow. Problem is, he would have been much better off growing under a coach with some class. Rex lacks that - just like his father.

In the 3 years since Rex left, Balt had 3 winning seasons, 2 12-4 recordss, 2 Div Championships... and Rex a legitimate one winning season 11-5 (not counting charity that was so egregious that the league immediately changed its scheduling policies) in 2010 and no divisional championships. Doesn't look like the Ravens missed him at all, eh? :idk:

They have ONE div title, last season and in 3 years rex has 2 title games while Bal has 1 in that same span. Call me crazy but isn't 2 better than 1?

playoff records: Rex 4-2, Bal 3-3. Which is better? The last time Baltimore won at least 2 postseason games in a single postseason? Rex's last season in Baltimore.

The thing is, the things that Sanchise does well aren't the things that ryan values.

He wants to ground and pound. Tebow under center means the opposing D will have to defend against two RB's whenever he is in there. Their rushing yards will be better when he is under center.

I respect Tebow in the 4th quarter, I have no respect for sanchise in the 4th quarter or even at the end of the 2nd quarter. Their coaches didn't either last season. They didn't let him do anything in plenty of games. Tebow ALWAYS played better in the 4th quarter. His coaches turned him loose when the game was on the line & he got it done. When the game was on the line, they didn't let sanchise do anything

sorry, it's tough to give him credit for any post season games in a season he didn't earn getting into the post season the old fashioned way. 2009 is as *asterisk-worthy as is Bonds' HR record. :idk:

Either way though, must kind of suck for you not being able to play the "reach card" when it comes to T-hill as everyone here knows you would if the guy you yourself slurp wasn't factually as much of one if not more so.

always the excuses but what would I expect from a guy who thinks Mike Sherman deserves credit for Bertt favre. You didn't know who Mike Sherman was until Miami hired him.

You can go through the archives, I'm not a draft guy. I don't bash your picks b/c I haven't seen these guys play as much as I would like. Certain guys I do see enough but most I do not.

goddamnit op, why the **** do you and other people continue to insist on bringing up sanchez in ever ****ing other post! first any day without sanchez is a day without thinking about chocolate chip cookies and/or reach arounds. seriously you like trolls or something? if you wanna talk to nyjunc just send the man a pm or something.

this x 1000

It amazes me how people waste their time complaining about topics instead of actually posting to keep it on topic. This one hasn't even gone into a Sanchez-Tannehill debate and you guys are wasting your time worried about it.

I think most are tired of debating Sanchez as was so often done against Henne. You know when you said he led you to the AFC title games. :D

There is nothing to debate between T-Hill and Snatcho except the Dolphins MAY have an elite QB on their roster and the Jets definitely don't.

Well said Bill. It is really getting ****ing old hearing the same stuff again and again about Sanchez both from Junc and our own fans. Let is all agree to differ on the subject and let the results on the field be the judge.

haha.

we'll see what Tannehill can do. I am happy w/ my QB situation and hopefully you guys are happy too.

Just to bash sanchez..sanchez so far.." 55.3 9209 6.51 55 51 and 17 fumbles" in three years a rating of 73.2 with his rating as 78.2 in his last year...not worth 5th overall...we shall see how tannehill does
