We got the win, Go Dolphins!!!! We looked good, especially second half. Tannehill and Wallace did look better but, they still are not in sync. Wallaces' fumble was partly on Tannehill for throwing the ball behind Wallace. I was watching the game at Buffalo Wild Wings and when the fumble happened, me and the guy next to me both said, that's Tannehill's fault, almost in sync. Balls were high and behind WRs. When Wallace couldn't get his feet down, the ball was thrown too far to the sideline, he didn't have to put it that wide. Wallace still shoulda got his feet down and still should not have fumbled but, Tannehill can throw a better ball. The int was just ugly. On the bright side, Wallace did score a TD, had some big catches, looked tough and Tannehill led some impressive drives. Thoughts?

All I can say is THill had a very good second half and that's what I judge QBs on, when it matters. He's only going to get better each week running this things

I agree with mostly everything except that the Wallace fumble was RT fault. Yes it was a bad pass however Wallace had control of the football. That makes the fumble Wallace fault solely. Again it was a bad pass however once Wallace has control Tannehill was exonerated of any fault regarding the fumble

Both are more on Wallace, especially the step out in the end zone. He has terrible awareness of the sideline. This is not the first time that he has stepped out on a pass that was easily catchable in the field of play. Honestly, he has the worst body control and ball awareness of any WR I have seen in a long time. The deflection at the goal line by Revis is another example. He had no idea where the ball was. How are his eyes not tracking the ball? Finally, the INT was Tannehill's fault but did you see Wallace running is circles at the end of the play? Once again, he cannot locate the football.

At this point, I don't think the chemistry between him and Tannehill is going to improve. Time to begin the search for a new #1 WR for next year.

The throw was tannehills fault, the fumble was on Wallace, you have to look in the ball before you turn up field. Especially when going up the middle. Wallace actually did better with that the 2nd half also

disagree. Because of the ball placement, even though wallace had control, it took him too long to be able to look up field at the defenders coming becuase he was still trying to correct for the pass behind him. Had the pass been in front his eyes would have been on the defenders and fumble unlikely too happen.

Couldn't agree more. Those two potential TDs would have been receptions for any other WR on our team. Even the TD he caught was almost dropped. I don't even understand how he has gotten this far with a lack of ball awareness and body catching.

RT was off the first half, but seem to calm down and make some very smart plays. Even some of the throw aways he had were good football. I do give Tannehill some credit for not shying away from Revis....

My biggest concern (if you can call it that) is the lack of Clay, Gibby and Matthews involvement in the offense. Maybe it was by design or what New England was giving him, but RT seemed to look for Wallace a whole bunch.

Luck threw almost the same pass...it looked almost like the identical play to the wallace fumble but his guy held on. Passes get thrown behind guys all the time...once it's caught your supposed to secure it.

Some of you are too funny. If a player has possession of the ball then fumbles it then it is his fault and his fault only.

The length people go to to discredit Tannehill is too funny.

Some throws were Tannehill's fault, but Wallace needs to do a better job too. I think if Wallace continues to get this many targets, they can establish some chemistry, but Wallace needs to learn how to catch - put his hands out and pull the ball in.

I'm starting to think Wallace might just be better at the intermediate or short routes where he can sprint for an extra 10 yards after the catch - like the sideline grab where he plowed through 2 defenders after running 10 yards.

Yeah it looked as if everyone was out of sync a little. New offense, extremely tough matchup for a first game (with a very good D), and a little first game jitters. This offense is a lot of timing based throws so they will get better and better as the season goes on.

Tannehill also put a perfectly thrown ball on dion sims and he dropped a td. Also, wallace needs to have more awareness on that other deep ball (yes it was a little outside) but the great wr keep their feet in or at least try Wallace didn't even try to stick his feet down, just bad awareness their but played a hell of a game otherwise.

This offense is going to be deadly once they start clicking and what a huge confidence booster to knock off NE first game!!

Go Fins!!!

That was my first thought but it will probably change week to week. Maybe Gibosn has 5 or 6 catches this week. Also there were a few times was begging for Ryan to keep the ball on the RB fake but didnt happen once this week, but its coming.
