Tannehill, Luck ,RG3 , Foles

I guess I'm now glad we didn't draft TY Hilton. He falls down too. Of course, in his case it requires someone to actually throw him down, unlike Hartline.

I'm trying to imagine the whining around here if we lost a game based on two horrendous late pivotal calls like the Colts suffered tonight. But since we wanted it that way it merely serves to define Andrew Luck as 0-2.

Draft Ameer Abdulah, Nebraska, and you have your change of pace back for this offense.

Who is that dude that bet me all his vcash that Tannehill would have a better rating at the end of the season than Russell Wilson?

So none are any good?
Luck is very good. He is throwing some interceptions but he is not afraid to let it rip. Some poor playcalling last night. The Colts must be kicking themselves - should have won that game.
Foles is also good. He's just missing Lazor as his QB Coach.

We were told to stop with the happy adjustments.

Also does anyone what date the Redskins are holding the RG3 jersey trade in day?

Two games in and we already have the season figured out...can we at least get to the bye before we start talking QB in the first round...

Here's an example of an established "franchise" QB

Week 1: 31-43 448 yards 3tds 0ints

Week 2: 24-44 231 yards 1td 3ints

In this league you are going to get a lot of Jekyll and Hyde performances....take the season as a whole.

Anybody watch Foles tonight? So many missed throws and poorly placed balls.

Foles missed 3 screen passes and 3 or 4 deep passes. Luck was averaging about 4 YPA for most of the game. I thought only Tannehill had issues. Weird.

BTW, how's Crapernick doing? :chuckle:

Thats also funny, because all offseason, all I heard was how NOW THAT WE GOT BILL LAZOR from PHILLY OUR OFFENSE IS GONNA BE SOOOOO GOOD! And how Bill Lazor was gonna payoff big time for Tannehill, which is fine, because now we actually see just how limited R. Tannehill is considering this offense paid off big time for M. Vick and N. Foles! R. Tannehill is still same lame duck QB that was drafted and hasnt improved AT ALL. HE SUCKS, get over it, all the people that said it last year are allowed to come back and throw it in all the homers faces. We won, should of drafted Manziel, I think he played 1 play last week but he showed off more movement behind the LoS in that one play then RT has shown in his whole NFL career. How poetic it would have been. I could of saw the headlines already "Manziel steals Tannehill's job in Miami and takes them places that Tannehill couldnt, Just like at Texas A&M"

And P.S. I was tryna say maybe we should start throwing RT's name in posts with guys like A. Smith, J. Flacco, J. Locker.... No more Foles, Luck, Brady, Manning, Brees... those guys are just clearly something Tannehill will never be. Seen enough of him to say it. I will never say he cant win a SB, because Dilfer and Brad Johnson have shown to do it, and in that same formula is the only way RT will win one (great D and run game, hardly have to pass)

Manziel sucks and will be out of the league faster than tebow

People can't do that here, they take it game by game

Right, so where is Tannehill's 3 TD 0 INT game with better than 10 YPA? I can take a bad week. I can take multiple bad weeks. Where are the great weeks?

He hasn't had a "bad" week...merely average...

5.2 YPA (through two weeks), missing critical (relatively easy) throws . . . Is it only a bad week if he throws multiple INT's?

There's nothing average about a 5.2 YPA. Said it going into the season that he'd need to be at or above 7.0. It's early, and there's time to turn it around, but time doesn't appear to be the problem.

Everyone should understand why I was so pissed at Wallace and Sims in the first game. Wouldn't a 4 TD game have softened the sting a bit?

Do you know what would soften the sting? Tannehill making some throws. That'd soften it something fierce.

Anybody who watched the game last night should understand that football is a team game. Neither QB looked all that good last night.

Luck was under pressure up the middle on nearly every throw (doesn't that sound familiar). Both announcers commented on how "pedestrian" Luck becomes when facing pressure up the middle. It wasn't a knock on Luck. It was simply a matter of fact that didn't seem at all surprising to a former coach (Gruden). He still loves Luck, BUT you need to protect him. This is something the "fans" here seem to fail to understand.

Foles was off target a lot. But, he was getting great protection and had a great running game, a KILLER screen game, and his team didn't fall too far back. He stayed calm and played the game. Guess what? The better TEAM won, not the better QB.

Why are you angry...you shouldn't get so emotionally invested in something you can't control...
