like 80 % of league.

Favre also threw a very crazy amount of INTs in his 3rd year, a good amount more then TDs......Oh and NO, not saying Tannehill is better then Favre (For those that will ask that question)

I think Tannehill will be okay; he just is going to take time to develop, and that is not well liked in today's win now NFL. He sees his mistakes magnified because the offense (mostly the running game) sucks. I don't know if that is due to the back, the line, the play-calling, etc... If Brady or Manning overthrows an open receiver, no big deal; they'll line up and probably do it again. He and Wallace are definitely not on the same page and I think some if it has to do with communication. When Tannehill calls a play, he runs that play. If Wallace lines up to run a short play and sees the coverage will allow him to get open deep, he's going deep, no matter the play call. They've got to figure out a way to communicate that to each other.

Was it man or zone???

It was definitely zone and there was a soft spot between the lbs and the dbs were it was thrown but you can't really fault Wallace for getting behind the dbs either. Just weren't on the same page. I'll say this though, big ben launches that ball down field for 6. Wallace and Tannehill just don't have that kind of chemistry yet.

Ask yourself.. Does he fit balls into small windows? Is he athletic? Does he have a strong arm? Is he poised? Is he tough?

He doesn't know how to anticipate passes very well, he has poor downfield accuracy (air it out). Guys, if he had even a jordy Nelson he would be even better. His accuracy is damn good on short to intermediate routes.

4 elite throws that not many QBs can make. Not brady or manning no way.

Really? I stopped reading after that because you are claiming that HOF QBs can't make throws that RT has made and I have not seen ANY of his throws EVER be that good.

I can understand rallying behind RT and heck even homerism...but claiming that RT has made some other worldly, godly, and unmatchable by HOF QBs throws is off the rails.

I'd like someone to break down what exactly about the coaching was bad. Like what specifically?! I think a lot of time people don't blame the execution. Philbin and Sherman don't have an xbox controller in their hands.

4 elite throws that not many QBs can make. Not brady or manning no way. Not comparing him to them stop dont go there. Im still not endorsing tannehill all the way but i like him and see a huge ceiling. Just because he isnt john elway in year 2 & winning in the 4th qrt every week doesnt mean he wont be good. Btw when was the last time tony romo won a playoff game dude just landed $100 million so lets chill on tannehill for a sec here and let him develop.

1. 53 yard pass to wallace on the run was excellent throw that is a very difficult throw to make on the run he threw the ball to the right side of wallace to the opposite side of the shaded defender. Excellent throw and Aaron Rodgers type west coast packers offense throw btw sherman sucks.

2. Throw to matthews was excellent in between 3 defenders it was an awkward angle for tannnehill to squeeze it in matthews was draped but tannehill between 3 guys lasered it in there. Thats an elite throw.

3. Throw to clay that was reviewed was excellent he escapes the pocket throws across his body to clay who is tippy toe'n the sideline with minimal space idk how tannehill squeezes it in there go watch it on the nfl app good catch by clay too.

4. Hail mary to wallace was just unreal i just posted a thread about it. 68 yard pass while being leveled and the ball is on the money is just incredible. Not many QBs in the history of the game can throw the ball from their own 33 and have it land on the 1 yard line. Im just sayin

Im sorry for the breaking i did that on accident my i phone is screwed up

Im not reading the thread. But you can add the pass to Miller on the wheel route. That was a beautiful throw.

Even when we lose I see Tannehill make some unbelievable throws. Honestly that hail mary was unbelievable but that little floater pass he threw was one that Henne tried to Marshall over and over again and never completed. A lot of his mistakes seem to be about timing, either timing with the receiver or taking too long in the pocket. I agree that he has a huge upside but he may never get there but the idea that we are giving up on him already is absurd.

Elite QBs lead Wallace into EZ on the one bomb he caught and they sure don't miss the wide open Wallace on the play we left 7 on the table. He's getting there but long way to go yet.

The ball came out late due to a play fake -- AGAIN. Same thing vs San Diego. I honestly just think he couldn't throw it any harder than that.

Mike Sherman is killing this offense. And apparently, the players feel the same way. David Canter had some eye-opening comments on Sunday.

I disagree that he just couldn't throw it any harder.....I think his timing is just off. I guess that would actually be better because timing you can learn but being able to throw the ball farther isn't.

What did Canter say?

I don't follow him...

Straight up ripped on Mike Sherman and Joe Philbin. Mike for being a terrible OC and Joe for sticking with him. I don't necessarily agree with him 100% (I don't think Mike Sherman is totally incompetent) but given that Canter represents several Dolphins, you gotta wonder if he's getting some information.

As for whether or not the QB is basically reaching his physical limitations throwing a football 60 yards downfield outside the numbers, I don't even know what to say. That's about as far as anybody's going to throw a football accurately in pads with a breeze blowing.

You forgot a 5th throw.

He overthrew a separated Mike Wallace in the open field on a deep pass. Tell me how many QBs can do that?

I've been waiting for him to stop lofting his deep balls and simply cutting it loose. He's finally doing it. And I think Wallace has found a few more reasons to shut up for the near future. Maybe he'll start wearing his gloves and putting on his cleats for games in the future. Wallace being asked to run faster.... there's a development folks.
