Tannehill on a shorter leash for 2014

yet, you don't mention the dropped pass by clay AFTER the sack. the sack that was 100% on the oline.

ok, i will not ignore the defensive TD. i don't see how that is relevant at all. defenses help win lots of games for lots of good qb's. what's your point?

he had a drop but he also took a 5 yd loss where every yard was critical.

i brought up that those two qbs take bad sacks like they are supposed to...so you live in a glass house and throw stones...and if you are gonna throw em at least call it right...

nowhere did I ever say they didn't take bad sacks, nowhere did I say mark was better in 2012 than Ryan 2013 or that Geno was better this year.

he can't take a sack in that spot, in the Buf game he can't turn it over but he did both of those things in both spots and cost his team both games.

I didn't change anything, you brought up the better QB in mark $anchez along w/ Geno who was bad most of the year but badly outplayed young/more athletic Tom Brady in his biggest game of his life.

he didn't take a sack in any of those games, in the sense that he could actually prevent from getting a sack. since he had no time to react to the defense being on top of him in 2 seconds, unless he knew for a fact, that he would be sacked in 2 seconds. only way he would know that, is if he can see into the future. The lineman need to know that thay can't allow their qb to get hit in 2 seconds, but they failed. 100% oline's fault.

he needs to see into the future then, he cannot take a sack there. He had time to react in the Bal game.

It is useless arguing with this guy. He has shown a willingness to lie, distort, redefine words, ignore reality, and to look like a complete ass.

I'm going to take some sage advice - "Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience."

I'm done with him (again).

lolwut.

he did not have time to react there. couldn't throw, and couldn't scramble.

#1- he should be prepared that he won't have much time
#2- he had time to flip it out to the RB
#3- he cannot take a sack in that situation

you don't argue, all you do is whine and attack. you act pathetic and gutless

1 - if a qb has to prepare to be sacked after 2 seconds, he will not be able to run an offense. a qb has to trust his lineman, period.
2 - no he didn't.
3 - he didn't.

In that spot he has to be prepared for quick pressure, he wasn't, he took a bad sack which ended any realistic hopes of tying the game.

Have you ever once commented how even in '12, buttfumble missed the open man time and again, choosing to throw into triple coverage time and again and how pathetic it is for a 3 year QB to not show a scintilla of improvement from the time he got there? Or are you too busy trying to make yourself feel better by running down someone improving year by year with a helluva lot more potential than buttfumble? But be that as it may:

So a rough per page approximate count of your posts from 2/12 through approximately 3:15PM today, the 19th comes up with about 170 posts in 5 2/3rds days.

So if charitably* we estimate each post to take 6 minutes (*averaging out between reading all the related posts you want to react to, those specifically you care to which you care to respond and when necessary the referencing and research required for some posts and then the actual responding posts)

...then we come up with 1020 minutes or 17 hours of posts on FH over the last 5.67 days or 3hours/day posting on this forum. And only during business hours, never after hours or on weekends. And that does not account for the number of posts you make on TGG, Buffalo Range and any personal interest forums like U of NC. So let’s bump that up
To about 3.5hours a day over the last 5.5 days posting in forums.

Which conjures up the logical conclusions we can possibly make:

You’re a paid propagandist probably working for a jets social media agency because it’s the only way with an allegedly responsible job you could get away with that shizzle,
You’re really not at work, but rather at home trolling before heading out for the week night and weekend shifts
You’re a goldbrick who’s largely unsupervised, with no qualms about stealing your employer’s time, bandwidth and money to indulge your dysfunctionalities
Actually as a family or friend favor, you have been given a trivial “look busy” - so long as you don’t surf porn sites or get into trouble type job to justify putting you on the payroll

While I can’t think of any, if however there are any other options explaining how an allegedly productive employee can get away with so much web time, I’d be interested in hearing them.

I talked about it for a year how bad mark was in 2012, at no point did I say Ryan was bad at all let alone as bad as Mark 2012. My point the entire time is that Ryan was ok but some folks are pretending like he arrived and is a really good QB. That's just not the case, if he was you make the playoffs. Will he be a very good QB? It's possible, I am not saying he won't be and I have never said he was bad. I think he was decent and I expect as the OL gets better, as they stop abandoning the run that he will get better.

The problem is if I don't say mark sucks you guys think I call him great and if I don't say Ryan is great you guys think I am saying he sucks.

we don't think you're saying he sucks, we think your reasoning and your place of blame on him in certain situations is dumb.

it's nothing anyone should take personally. everyone views the game differently. at the end of the day he's going to start in 2014, and he's going to have a better oline. he will be exposed for what he is one way or another.

That's ok, I don't expect my view to be popular. I don't take it personally, it's football. Like I wrote earlier, putting everything else aside he had great OL play, a good run game and a home game needing to beat a non playoff team to get to postseason and he led his O to 7 pts in a loss. That tells us more than anything else he did, he doesn't have a history to fall back on in big games. So far he's 0 for 2 in big games.
