Anyone see or hear this? Just saw a Facebook post (Miami Dolphins Zone) where Benjamin Albright says Tannehill and the #11 to Denver for the #5 is picking up steam in NFL circles. I’m not making it up I’m a fan of Ryan. Anyone else see this? What do you think?

Tannehill and eleven is not enough for five, but yes this is out there. Vance Joseph obviously knows 17.

Do it if Mayfield is there.

And if you do that.... Trade Suh and James. Shop Reshad Jones too.

Denver would be nuts to trade the opportunity to draft a future franchise QB for a QB who has question marks in terms of his health.

That's not enough. Broncos would have to throw in their 3rd and 4th round picks. I am not giving up a proven starting QB to move up 6 spots.

    A hack

But if this happens guess I will walk the plank and be recording broncos games every Sunday

Tannehill and 11 for 5 is miami getting hosed again but maybe it’s best for him to get out of here anyways. Never appreciated

He has played in the NFL and has put up decent #s. Each one of the QBs in this class have many question marks like Tannehill did before he was drafted. IMO there is no Luck, Peyton Manning or even a Phillip Rivers in this draft. Each one of these QBs has as good a chance of being a bust then they do being a better NFL QB than Tannehill already has been. Tannehill may not be great but at least he has proven to be a competent NFL QB that you can win with it you put a solid roster around him.

If I am trading #11 and my starting QB, I want more of a sure thing than anyone in that group appears to be.

Are you serious? Tannehill could barely net a 3rd right now. 6 spots in the top 10 is more then a 3rd

The only reasons I can see for Denver to do this deal are:

    1. They aren't going to get Cousins and think they can win now with Tannehill. If this is the case then either they overrate him or we underrate him.

    2. They don't see a franchise QB in this year's draft worth a top five pick. This means they are either going to be wrong like the Browns passing on QBs like Wentz, or they are going to be justified down the road when the QBs flop.

For me, I would stick with Tannehill and wait to draft someone at 11, or try to work out a trade up that doesn't involve Tannehill because he can then be the stopgap.

Tannehill has a market value of a late 2, maybe a little less due to his knee. That late of a pick doesn’t get you up from 11 to 5. But, we can wait and see. Maybe you’re right.

Tannehill Isn't worth 6 Spots in the top 10. So actually, the Broncos get hosed

If the QBs in this draft are as great as some here believe and Tannehill is as bad as some people here seem to believe then why would Denver consider that trade? Wouldn't they just take one of those sure thing awesome QBs with that pick?

A few years ago, we used our 12th pick and a 2nd to move up to 3. I have a hard time believing an 11 and Tannehill couldn’t get us up to 5

    Nope

You guys got this fairy tale like stuff in your head that all these QBs will be better than tannehill

    Not a damn chance

If I’m Denver I’d make the trade. And if Miami makes this trade without seeing what’s there at 5 well more par for the course stupidity

How can you make this trade up for a damn qb and not even know if one you want will be there

They’d have to make it on draft night or this is yet another example of incompetence

The rumor is Tannehill and James and that’s enough to move up 6 spots. I don’t believe it for a second. Personally I don’t care If Tannehill is on the team or not but I’d be stunned if he’s not our QB this season.

I’m going to assume this is just speculation from Facebook. The trade makes some sense if we love Mayfield that much but I say no chance it happens

It makes sense. Obviously Denver’s coach knows him well and believes he can win with him. I think if a trade occurs there will be additional comps on both sides. Perhaps Anderson and one of Denver’s QB’s comes back to Miami? I know this much, Miami has strong interest in clearing cap space and like several veteran QB’s in th F/A market.

If Denver’s coach knows that it’s from Adam Gase.

Which is why I see zero chance of this

True, but at the time that was considered an outlier and not the norm because the top of that draft was so weak. That’s not the norm. Look at what RGIII netted.

of course it would. I know it was tannenbaum but moving from 13 to 8 cost you kiko alonzo and byron frickin maxwell. and half the people defended that godawful trade
