Tannehill vs Luck Updated

you mean the guy that has as many wins w/ less talent as the great Ryan Tannehill?

I worry about wins, I don't worry about meaningless fantasy #s

If you are worried about wins- you wouldn't be making endless excuses on 2 forums why Sanchez lost 13 out of his last 19 games.

Geno is closer to Ryan than Ryan is to Luck. That says more about how good Luck is than anything else.

Just wondering.

Do you have anything to support this argument, or just your QB expertise. Its one thing to say something is...its another thing to be able to support it.

please stop looking at blind stats, there is absolutely no comparison btw the 2. That doesn't mean Ryan is bad but he's nowhere near Luck no matter what the #s say. It's not about the overall #s, it's about how you got there that matters.

Every Phan I know looks at stats, should they all stop? :) FWIW, PFF's eyeball test has Tannehill over Luck in passing with a 13.5 grade to Lucks 4.7. Luck is much better on the run with a 6.7 grade to -2.5 for RT.

Junc supports his argument with a load of expertly shoveled bull****, 9am to 5pm every weekday right here on your favorite message board: Finheaven. You can also catch him at Buffalo Range and Gang Green during normal business hours on most weekdays.

No way and it is not even close. Tannehill has never had the deer in the headlights look that Geno has ever other week.

I love watching him try to defend Geno since we already have on file his comments about Geno before the draft.

if you has basic reading comprehension you would know I bashed mark for his poor play last year and to end 2011.

Luck as a rookie takes team to playoffs
Luck as a 2nd yr QB has team in running for 1st rd bye

Ryan as a rookie doesn't have Miami in playoff race
Ryan in year 2 despite numerous upgrades in talent has Miami at 5-5 behind Jets

Geno as rookie w/ team predicted to win 2-3 games has team at 5-5 and in playoff contention

use stats as a guide not as a be all end all. Ask the dolphins if they would trade Luck for Tannehill straight up and see what they say. sites like pro football focus are ruining fans.

all you have to do is say "I have nothing intelligent to add to this discussion" rather than the ramblings about me.

No way and it is not even close. Tannehill has never had the deer in the headlights look that Geno has ever other week.

Ryan is better w/o a doubt but he also has much better talent around him and geno is a rookie who wasn't ready to start yet we still are ahead of you. amazing how that works, isn't it?

oh, this must be one of vaark's numerous accounts as you talk about my comments when we drafted Geno, about 9-5 and you struggle w/ basic reading too.

whether I wanted Geno has nothing to do w/ anything and I still haven't proclaimed geno to be anything but it's not like Ryan has done anything either. You guys comparing Ryan to Luck is a complete a joke.

Why are we talking about a ****ty WVU quarterback who got benched this week in a thread about Andrew Luck and Ryan Tannehill?

I mean, I enjoy talking about pick-sixes thrown by quarterbacks wearing green uniforms, don't get me wrong, but can we please take it to one of the various "LOL GENO SMITH" threads in Beasts of the AFC East?

RT's coaches have never benched him due to piss pour performance...Geno can't say the same. Good try but next time use your eyes not your mouth.

It should be apparent to anyone who watches their games that this is true.

Luck is in another league as far as talent and leadership goes. Actually I would say that Russell is very close to being also in that league.

Ryan should continue to get better but Luck will always be a better leader and player unless he gets seriously injured.

why? b/c a DOLPHIN fan brought Geno into this asinine thread.

your point is?

With junk it's always "who could have won with such and such on our offense??" despite his attempt at revisionist history. Only when deniability was no longer a credible option even to Helen Keller did he say "maybe Mark had some responsibility." Junc is on record in 2 forums as hating the Geno pick because he had no respect for him, and loving Sanchez up til the bitter end and even now.. so whether you want to seriously consider his opinion on QBs as split, also factor in that at one time he wouldnt trade Sanchez for Flacco, Ryan, Eli, etc or for 2 first round picks.

Please, although you get compensated to sprinkle **** on any pro Fins thread, and there are so many hours in the working day to do so.. in this case... don't kid a kidder.

Well I think Tanney has a long way to go but, on a scale he's much closer to Luck than G's Myth. C'mon man ...

I get you struggle w/ reading but I said it all along Mark was awful last year and to end 2011. Go back and check your archives as you know you have all my posts saved somewhere.

I agree w/ that, Ryan is better than geno w/o a doubt. I am not bashing Ryan but rather complimenting Luck. No sane football fan would ever compare Luck and Tannehill at this point.

Oh, God..... here comes 4 years of inane attempts to defend crappy QB play with team accomplishments..... Where have we seen this before??? Get back to us when Geno or Mark don't suck.
