Tannehill vs Luck Updated

They could definatly argue "elite" with each other. But Shou is kinda anti-junc...he's a stats no context type poster:lol2:

Also Shou is the Cam Cameron of finheaven and nyjunc is more of a Rich Kotie type:lol:

I love the Vaark and Junc beef. It's so entertaining. But I do find interesting how Junc finds any thread praising Miami and tries to discredits it. It's like his mission in life.

I discuss reality. People forget as most of the board was jumping ship in recent weeks I said it was far from over and you guys weren't done but people have their perceptions. I have been here since 2004 and in most years you haven't been good so it seems like I am bashing them but any time I bash it is earned and when they do something worthy of praise I praise.

you're talking to a paid shill - who gets demerit points for being shown up like we've done here using his words and standards against him. Like arguing with a door knob :idk:

It's kind of pathetic that he gets paid to post all day, but I guess it's all relative: it would be more pathetic if he was allowed to do so for the purpose of keeping him out of the way of productive employees and/or that he abused his home online access to such a level that his privileges were revoked. :idk:

The day you show me up is the day I take my life.

What is pathetic is a guy that spends his life making excuses and stalking another man on the internet. THAT is pathetic.

So predictable that you've degenerated to babbling as a form of argument.

Tell me again who you wouldn't trade Sanchez for? The Jets would take a case of sports tape and some gatorade.

I told you so.

The Jets would be neck and neck w/ NE if Sanchez was healthy.

every game you get a couple throws where you are left like "only a handful of qbs in this league could read it that well and that quickly and execute that ball at that level" with tannehill...every game

two of those throws against cinci in that fg drive to tie it were as money as it gets...wow throws...2nd and 17 ball down the seam to mathews away from the coverage and where only he could go up and get it and the man under 2 deep throw to hartline over the under defender jones and in front of the coming over safety for a toe drag and clock stoppage...you kidding me the qb freaking bailed us out with bang on presnap coverage reads and quick decisions and perfect placement balls...

you find me and let me know how many young qbs can make those reads and those throws and not screw it up by spraying the ball into coverage off poor reads and poor decisions like tannehill can...there's not many in the league period let alone 2nd year

chad henne could never in a million years sniff that..

and every game you get a few throws where you say this guy shouldn't be in the league making such a poor decision/throw. You only see positives w/ him and ignore the negatives.

So, making it to 2 AFC Championships is sheer dumb luck and NOT a product of skill? Enlighten, please.

huh?

Im not saying he is a bust. right now he is average. He needs to start winning games to be compared to Luck and Wilson.if he is winning stats dont matter when you're losing stats do matter

thats false that you get that with tannehill every game junc...completely false...i bang him when he makes a mistake or bad decision...i just don't bang him for missed plays that aren't on the qb...

i am not a homer...

People need to also remember Luck has been behind center his whole college career while Tannehill hasn't.
It's actually pretty impressive that Tannehill hasn't had much experience as a QB in college and manages to put up stats similar to ESPN's darling QB Luck.

I don't think you are a homer usually but w/ Ryan you certainly are. The man has turned it over at least once in all but 2 games so he's making mistakes. He's an ok QB right now, he ahs the potentially to be pretty good but you are talking about him like he has made it and has a chance to be a HOFer.

a bait play predicated because hartline fell down coming out of his break the play before so the d could dial up the drop the slot cb after the snap into the sticks and undercut a hartline against off coverage is not a mistake by the qb...

neither is a hell mary down 10 and 4th and forever that gets picked...and we have had multiple games with picks of just that variety...he was running a 95 qb rating vs tampa prior to that 4th down just throw it as far as you can int...i wish he would have just eaten it...then i wouldn't have to hear about a pick in every game or a bad int

geno smiths the king of bad ints...if i saw tannehill on the regular be late outside the #s or throw the ball into triple coverage then i'd be banging him for it...but he doesn't

Not every TO is his fault just like not every sack is the fault of the OL.

a Hail Mary INT is not his fault but being in that position was partly his fault.

who cares about QB ratings? take away the INT and he still failed to beat a winless team w/ an entire qtr to just get in FG range.

Don't deflect w/ Geno. Geno stinks right now but this is about the soon to be greatest QB in the NFL.

Funny, our resident paid shill complaining about 2nd year QB RT's turnovers (of course now that it's business hours and he gets paid to do so) when as the last troll standing he was still defending a 3rd and 4th year one who was statistically the worst QB in the league since JaMarcus with 52 turnovers in 2 seasons. Really, you can't make this shizzle up. I don't think he even knows how ridiculously disingenuous he's always coming off - but as they say "ignorance is bliss" :idk:

not deflecting at all...when my qb makes a mistake that is on him i bang him for it...and all 3 of the losses late vs balt tampa and buffalo were the result in the end of jailbreak pass pro and collapsing pockets in the clutch...the defense also for the most part has given back any lead the o has given it...lose to qbs like thad lewis, mike glennon that a legit d should wipe the floor with come on...how bout you stop em...up 17-3 vs cinci give up 2 straight long td drives and them the lead late...

i could go on...

You'll have to explain that. because I have never seen a player affect the outcome of a game from the bench.

He'd obviously be starting.

You are, we were talking about Ryan not Geno.

it's always someone else's fault.

The D also scored to win the game against Cincy after Ryan and the O failed on 2 possessions in OT.

Maybe if Ryan doesn't throw a pick 6 then fumble to set up the GW FG against Buf they don't lose to Thad Lewis?

ryan threw 3 tds to give us the lead vs buffalo after admittedly having a poor first quarter...vs cinci andy dalton left plays to be made all over the place...i'm not gonna pimp the d for dalton throwing a tight red zone out cutter that is a walk in 6 off the db leverage and coverage if dalton throws it out in front that he placed terribly too far to the inside...that's a bang the qb play not a feather in the d's cap in my book...

as for cinci down 3 late ryan made throws that any qb the jets have could only dream of to get us in fg range after being sacked on the opening play and put in 2nd and 17...a play where clay fell down coming out of his break and hooking up and tannehill had to come off it before being devoured by michael johnson...

good you mentioned that safety cause the o flipped the field on cinci with the check at the los to a max protect vertical with wallace inside our own 20 where the qb held the safety to the other side with his head and shoulders in his drop and redirected his head shoulders and feet to the target before laying a out in front and to the outside beauty of a throw that the cinci corner had to tackle the ankles on...still it flipped the field...then we get in 3rd and less than one and shermy dials up a off tackle run that is stoned when he could have just snuck the 6 ft 4 230 lb qb for the conversion...

still yes we punted on the next play and backed em up deep and because of that wakes sack wasn't just a momentum changer but a game winner...thank you offense
