Tannehill's 6/6 TD drive - Video

What I was disappointed about is that he "went vanilla" pretty much with the 2's...

Also, there wasn't as much motion as I was expecting...and not very "hurried-up"...

I think its good that we don't show all our hand completely with the #2's (technically #4s if you count the QB)

I understand "not wanting to show your hand", but the play-calling just got boring...

I watched this clip enough times to watch each player individually on every play. I'm really impressed with each of the offensive lineman and obviously Tannehill looked like he was in total control. I'm super excited with how the offense looked.

I just looked the stats and saw RT outperformed Melty Ice for the 2nd time in a yr.

From what I've read here on FH, its so far so good. Now, I may get up @ 8a (Mtn time) tomorrow to watch the replay,

If you are only counting the time Tannehill was in there on Offense yes so far so Great. :)

If you look at our starting D not so much.. At least we made Matt ryan work for his scoring drive though. It was like 10+ minutes.. Penalty's also killed us on D. I hope it was just early preseason Jitters but we will have to improve on D and reduce the penaltys if we want to beat NE.

Awesome First Drive of the Pre Season. The protection looked good. I watched the first drive like 6 times. Our rookie RT James looks solid.
Lamar Miller looks like he is hitting the hole harder. RT is looking sharp. I told my 6 year old hold on buddy Dolphins are about to score.
Then Gibson scores. Sweet concepts on Offense. From what I saw from lazor it looks like we will be hard to defend. Landry almost broke that PR.
I cant wait till the pattys come to town.

The TD was a thing of beauty from a design standpoint. Lining a mismatch at the end of the line then pulling him against the run of play for a playaction. It's a play ran a lot with TEs, and it's something I don't really think we've done in a long time. It's things like that I hated about Sherman's offense; very little movement. The long pass to Matthews was a good design too.

Man, can Tannehill sell a fake or what?

And that was without Wallace and Clay. Shermann should have been fired a long time ago. I like the fake handoff, fake keeper pass (or option play). Great to see a coordinator with some creativity.

Henning would have called a play action pass.. Sherman would have called an 8 yard pitch to Daniel Thomas

Get some sleep. You'll only want to watch the first 20 minutes. The 1st D started two series and the OL started two series I believe and after that, you can fast fwd to when the fins 3rd string offense had the ball which wasn't much. I believe they showed the offensive play count and at one point it was 62 offensive plays for Atl to 30 for Miami in the mid 3rd qtr.
